This was my first real VW meet, I'm so glad I went. Tons of fun, ridiculous cars, I just wish I would have brought some money so I could show my car. It was stuck out in the parking lot

The red Audi coupe quattro won first for all Audi, my dads MB 1987 190e 2.3-16 Cosworth got second for all euro/rest of world, and the cosmic took first for mk1s. Oh and dan gian's mk6 won mk6. That's all I've got

Maya, your Dad's car is a classic and VERY rare. I sat in it. It felt like old money. Very, very nice.
It's nice to see another older car guy.
I know he doesn't come on here much but Congrats Hubert!

Did you know that he has a 2004 R32 with less than 1000 miles on it? Plus a couple of vintage Porsches with low miles. I've also seen a very nice BMW of his at Vag-Fair last year. And these are ones that I've seen. No idea what else he has.

    A real car guy.

Thank you guys! (& congrats Pat!! ) He pops on the forums every now and then but in case he misses this I'll let him know

He does have a different perspective on cars than most people... he's not your average dude that buys a porsche, gets bored with the new toy and then sells it to get another one. He's a collector; he know what he wants (rare/classics/pieces of motorsport history) and once he finds that car, he takes care of them so people can enjoy and appreciate them for years to come. The cars he's brought to CC (e30 M3, 944t, and the benz) he's had for 10-15 years now... and he has enough of em to spread out the mileage

The 190e actually came up from Florida to SoWo and then over for the show .. those that cruised back from Georgia with us can attest to the fact that he does have fun with his cars

& Josh, he had a great time as always (thank you!!!) so you'll be seeing us next year!! Just not sure what car he'll bring lmao
