nice, she was a beauty AND a 2005! I want those fenders and mirrors these wheels are getting sold and I'm going to run something different next season. I also have plans to remove the rear perches so I can get slightly lower in the back. i'm thinking 9.5'' (if i stay with STs) or 10'' (if i go air)

Sorry to hear about your problem! There's a few reasons for a perch to seize and none of them have to do with the manufacturer's name. Even stainless steel bodies can have seized perches if dirt gets down into the threads. The aluminum perches most companies use seize often and get damaged just as easily by the steel wrench.

If you haven't already, soak the perch/threads in WD40, Liquid Wrench or similar to help break them free. Are all of the teeth in the perch damaged or just a few?

Just to comment - when I was younger, I bought a brand new set of FK Silverline Plus X coils (stainless). I didn't protect them well enough during the winter, and when I went to crank them down, 3 of 4 perches where seized..... Those coils had a retail of almost 3 times the cost of ST's....

Right off the bat, I can say they are a night/day difference compared to the vmaxx's.

I have not experienced ANY bump-steer at all. The car feels incredibly solid over bumps and dips. It feels quite planted when I make sharp and sudden movements. It just always feels like the wheels are always on the ground, even when I hit bumps while turning.

Monday I'll know how it feels at FL Turnpike speeds and hitting one specific dip I hit once and made me **** enough bricks to build a house with the vmaxx's...

I'll write a better review when I have time and have more driving under my belt.
