I want to go air so badly but i just feel like the high speed turning and cornering is out the window... looks awesome tho and what about the dealer they just wont warranty anything to do with suspension after that obviously. Also how many hours was the install?
#17
if anything, suspension components won't be warrantied, depends on the dealer.
as for high speed turning, the suspension is like being on coilovers that can raise and lower with a push of a button. air lift air bags have been used on track days, etc.
install took 12 hours give or take. i didn't do it, i had a couple of local air veterans take that over.

Went to home depot because my heat gun **** the bed, ended up seeing air line kit on sale and picked up a few other things
started the tear down a little late (lacked motivation). made it through one wheel after 20 minutes or so. rigged this thing up in literally 4 minutes to help out
got the other rear wheel done in minutes thanks to that thing. next came the fronts, got both barrels detached but got tired of swinging the hammer before i could get the rest apart. now, time for food and since it's getting late, i'll start on the trunk after dinner. hammering into the night in my neighborhood wouldnt fly with the neighbors.

yeah, super easy. unscrew the 4 bolts on back, careful because all the buttons and springs will fall out if youre not. used krylon for plastic gloss black because i had it sitting around. spray a few coats, making sure to cover the serial number on back, and reassemble.
