I know a person who is trying to sell his rieger wide body kit for an s2 scirocco and he wants 500 for it. I dont know if i am going to get it because i kind of like the look of the s2 scirocco as it is. but if i like the way it looks do you think 500 is a good deal for what is said to be in beautiful shape. He his bringing by my house saturday so i can see it and decide if i want to buy it or not.

Agree! The cost of removing and modding the fenders installing/fitting, prime/paint the kit, then get the correct offset deep dish wheels alone would scare the most hardened enthusiast!

if it is the real kit then jump on the deal, the kit was really exoensive in the day. actually have the rear reiger spoiler sitting here for the last 7 years, was about 700$ at the time, just to give you an idea. be weiry of fake kits tho.

I dont really care about the wheels so much since it is for the greater good, but I am really reluctant to molest my mint chasis (was going to say body, but decided not to for obvious reasons lol", if I had a rocco that needed some body work etc I would do it in a flash.

still undecided wether to instal my reiger wing or not.....

my rocco does need some body work but it only a little bit like dents in the fenders and one scratch on the bottom of the door but it will probably be alot less to do the body work it needs than the work that has to be done mounting it

yeah, I meant if you have a car that need rust repair on the quarters etc, then cut rip, and mount the fiberglass, I have agonized with this for years and can't bring myself to do it to a decent car, would almost need another roc, or a momentary plea of insanity and just go for it!

good luck! but you need to admit it does look way cool!

of ypu can post pics of the kit.

as far as the bodywork goes, you are right, the bad thing is that sciroccos can look nice with no body kit, just slick and smoothe, with 16v kits and with reiger, it makes it hard to decide which direction to go, in the end as long as it is well executed it will look great.

      now back to the reiger.......

This Rieger was in my time of beginning in Scirocco driving THE Scirocco for me.

That´s about 13-14 Years ago...meanwhile I got my own Rieger GTO.

Does it still exist? I love this car down to the present day.

When this ist your GTO post some new pics of it please....I need a nice new poster in my Scirocco hangar for motivation.

Any Wochner fans here? The Wochner bodykit ist great too...
