Here's a few of mine. I've owned it now for about three years. I bought it when I first moved to TN and can't get enough of the lakes here. The cold weather is killing me.

Finally found a pic of the Holly Guacamole...she lives on a friends lift. We use her for local river cruising and wake boarding.

Boat #1: 14' electric-powered Tahoe Sport pontoon boat (after reading those fuel mileage figures , I'm even more glad it's electric!)

    Before:

POs took great care of it...

    After:

^A few months after buying it, a complete restoration was done here at home, including the upholstery.

    Boat #2: 10' (I think) Schiada outboard

The boat is smaller than the van.

I bought a 1956 18-foot Chris Craft Continental to show with my 1956 18-foot Continental Mark II convertible.

This is the only time it's been in the water in 10 years of ownership. It's a near-perfect original boat that's never been sanded.

That Chris Craft is absolutely freaking gorgeous. What engine does it have?

Thank you. Unfortunately, not the original KBL. It was retrofitted with a Crusader 165 V-6 sometime in the late '70s.

I live in the land of lakes, but I'm really not a boater.

I hope that by the time I have the means to properly keep one of those, there are still some around. I have lusted after them for a long time.

This was quite a find. It was ordered by a dentist from New York who had a summer place in northern Canada where the boating season is what, two weeks long? The story was told that he took it out of the water every time he used it, put it on a trailer and put it in his dry garage. It never sat outside. It still had 98% of the bilge paint intact. It sat for a very long time and something seized and the engine was replaced. Bummer, those I-6s were powerful and smooth.

Note the black original interior. I was told that boats shipped to Canada often had black interiors, because they need the heat.

You need the time too! Upkeep on that much brightwork on a working vessel is a total b!tch!

You need a "boat girl" to do the brightwork. She can also polish your brass.

That's the nice part of not having brass or brightwork. There is teak though, so she does oil my wood!

This is very similar to what I want to get my hands on in the next couple of years. Something with a small cabin and some big engines. Very nice.

(I bet you get asked how it is on fuel a lot)
