At first I liked it because of how it stood out..its starting to seem kind of tacky to me now. Might change it up. We will see.

The little things are really starting to annoy me. Tiptronic shifter broke its spring so it flops around, cel and a crappy idle, broke as **** windshield, the biggest driver seat tear in b5 history. Ugh. Time to tackle some things.

Hopefully I get rich in Vegas on my 21st this Friday..yeah right

Went to Vegas. Caused lots and lots of trouble. Should have gone to jail. But didn't. Fell in love with a heavily tattooed stripper.

Also went to the Viva Los Vegas rockabilly rat rod/car show. The cars are amazing. The culture is amazing. Everything about it is pretty damn amazing. I want a stretched chop top bug.

I had more than a good time.

Feeling rather ill.. I decided to go through hundreds of pages of build threads and found so many amazing and interesting things. I hate to say it, but the greater majority of it was in the mk4 section.

The b5 section's "builds" aren't as wild or outside the box as many I read up on. Looking through what I've done..kinda disappointed to be blunt. I havn't done much at all. But at the same time I'm motivated to work and do things the way I want. /end silly thoughtful post


Also. The cost of premium is 3 cents more than diesel...and half as efficient. WTF.................I want a diesel powerplant.

Not so much going on. Building my 77 kz650 & 81 gpz550 cafe racers. Picked up a 5 series for free. 230k on it and it still chomps in 3rd. I swear that car is indestructible, idk what to do with it.

Picked up some new beltline trim out of my friends s4 and swapped it all over. Still itching for a new seat soooo bad. I want 19" oem wheels..wide ones.

How big a pain was it to do the dash trim? I've been putting off doing mine for a while until I come up with a good plan of attack

Dash trim wasn't easy. I pulled 2 sets, mine and my friends. Drop both bolsters all the way down, and the glove box, dash end pieces off. I found it was easiest to do laying on the floor of the car in front of the seats. You can kind of see what youre doing. Idk how people could do it without seeing the damn things. Depends on what type of trim you have too. My a4 trim had plastic pins, the woodgrain from the s4 had metal pins. The metal pins were way easy to remove clips from. The center clip above the center console is scary..I just put a butter knife behind the trim and pushed it through with a screw driver..seemed to work fine on both sets I did.
