I never really used my side mirrors once I got my wink mirror so I took them off and made some filler plates. Not everyones thing but I kinda like it.

    Drop it like it's hott.

I like the idea of the wink mirror, but i think it clutters things up. Have you gotten in any trouble for no side view mirrors?

    A8 sewer caps.

I wish I found mine for $65! haha I still got them for a deal, but $65 would have been way better.

Sewer caps? Meh, I can't keep names straight. I'm so tempted to polish them and polish my roof rack cross bars to match.

Someone suggest me a wheel color. Green is tricky to work with.

Weird. I was actually thinking cream too. Maybe a metallic brown? That ipanema brown that comes on some of the newer tt's and s5's is pretty sick.

    DO NOT PAINT THOSE WHEELS!

I have never seen them look good painted, unless you paint them a silver like Nic did with his set. Just take the time this winter and polish them I promise, you won't regret it.

Depending on the shape of the wheel (if curb damage, start with 220 grit paper), go 400, 600 - dry, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 - wet. Then polish them with a quality aluminum polish. I bought mine off a trucker website for $9, it seals and polishes, very good stuff.

Painting one wheel just to see how it looks. I'll post pictures when it's finished.

Car is getting buffed and waxed by myself right now, never done it before so I'm still learning.

It looks so much better already, but at the same theres loads of rock chips that stand out alot more now..

Thats because you probably have wax in the chips…I use to have the same issue until I got the front end repainted.

Was in behind the glove box and found this. 2 black boxes that are wired together. Looks pretty hacked in..lots of electrical tape and zip ties. Any ideas what it could possibly be? One of them says something about being a Portalac sealed battery box.

    I'm scurred, I hate electrical things hajl;dsjhf;alshdf.

I wish I could assume that^ But the entire stereo system is factory. I unplugged the battery it and nothing changed. The battery seems to power the other box and then there is just one wire coming out of the other box..and said wire goes way deep into the dash. Curiosity is killing me.

Did the independent front/rear fog lights mod along with dual rear foglights today. That relay behind the glove box is not fun to remove or plug back in when you have boxing mitts for hands.

Hopefully I can get rid of ml320 wheels and pick up some coilovers in the very near future. My 4x4 status kills my motivation to show how shiny the green is.

I'd have to see them mounted, but I still think these wheels only look good stock or polished.

I've seen them purple and they looked awful, copper may look a little better.

copper on cactus would probably be the best color combination to go with if you had to do it. i bet they'd look real good on there.

A while back someone on either here or audizine was making copper valve cover covers. Kinda looked like the 034 one. Anyone remember who?
