Cooler came in today with the 2 push lock fittings for the cooler and the mounting kit. Now I just need to find time to install.

Sure thing, I'm going to install it at my Dads Machine Shop where I can leave it and take my time, so that shouldn't be an issue documenting.

Not sure 100% sure, I know Armando was inviting some people, but it looks like I'm going to be in Portland that weekend. So, I'm going to make plans to go in September instead. Should I hit you up when the date starts to get a little closer?

Been bit by the detail bug, placed a huge order this weekend with Adam's. Spent the weekend watching the Junkman's videos on how to use the Porter Cable properly. My MKIV needs some paint correction, so I decided that would be a perfect car to learn since it's my daily driver.

sure thing, I've been doing a lot of research and started with just a few items, so that prompted this purchase after I realized how good their products are...

I was ordering through detailers domain at first, but Adam's has a lot of grouped products on their site that are grouped and discounted, plus they have a labor day special until midnight tonight for 15%. I believe detailers domain was/is having a labor day special going on too.

I've been meaning to pick up that porter cable polishing kit as well. My paint is still in pretty good shape, minor swirls but still, you know how it goes. lol.

Ryan - Can't wait to see how much of a difference it makes. I tracked my R pretty hard a couple weeks ago and overheated the DSG and sent it into limp mode. I am trying to decide whether to do the radiator or the Setrab.

Let us know what you think!

The car performed great with the Carbotech XP20's/RB Rotors and Setrab.

The first couple of heats the temp gauge never moved from the middle, by the third heat outside temps were around 80 and track temps had to be a little higher. Later in the session I was able to get the temps to about 3/4, but that was on lap 10 of 11 running the car hard. During my cool down lap the temps came back down pretty fast, within a half of lap, I think the Mishimoto radiator does a good job of bringing the temps back down fast once you let off a bit.

I'd like to get a RCD-510 and Fiscon so I can start monitoring my vitals and get some more in depth data. Gonna start looking for one...

I will agree the car did run great, I was quite impressed at how long Ryan was able to keep his foot in it without any overheating issues.

with removing my wheels and tires for track events all the time I decided to pick a set of studs and lug nuts. They didn't have the black oxide lug nuts and had no estimation on when they'll get more, so I just went for what they had in the size I needed (M14 x 1.5 and the studs are 65mm). The 65's should work perfect with my 5mm spacers.

I'll be using these with my NUE's and PF01's only, so I only needed conical...
