PC Graphics are NOTHING like the videos. More like "little upgrade to BC2" but FAR FAR FAR from what videos we seen.

PS. I'm running 1920x1200 Ultra with everything maxed out (in case you have doubts about my set up).

Also the web game browser is just stupid.

whats your pc set up look like, cards, mb, processor etc. Also, if you have an ATI/AMD card and you've recently updated the drivers you have to manually go back in and increase the settings of the card, for some reason it lowers them to the middle for visuals and performace.

2500k/2x 460 OC in SLI

My settings are on Ultra with everything maxed out and still getting 50-60FPS

Trust me, EA mislead us all with those videos. Graphics will not look no where NEAR what you seen in previews.

But I'm pretty sure that was a given....knowing EA history.

Samething my coworker just went through on his Nvidia equipped Alienware, driver updated f~cked up everything he reverted back and everthing is fine. As for my ATI alienware, as I stated above, after updating the drivers it lowered all the presettings, once that was fixed no more issues.

Anyone have any experience with Killer Xeno Pro? building another desktop just got my MB (evga classified SR-2) wanted to know if it made a notable difference. TIA.

I played last night for about 2 hours, and enjoyed it quite a bit. The graphics are better than I thought they were going to be (still not better than MW). The thing that sucked was I couldn't send invites to friends to join my game or send messages, but that wasn't the games fault, I think it's my stupid internet carrier.............

All in all the game plays solid, it does tend to get a bit messy. I hate the fact that hardly anyone uses their headset. I tried warning people and I couldn't because they couldn't hear me. I got frusterated and quit.

I really need to play with friends, or else it just gets stupid.

I haven't played COD in a while, but aren't the levels significantly smaller? Would explain why they can get more detail in.

I've never been a fan of ATI. Their model numbering always confused me and I used to have major problems with their drivers WAY back in the day (Like, 3DFX Voodoo2 days)
I miss my 3Dfx cards...
Back then my rig had a Quantum3D Obsidian X24!. It was 2 Voodoo2 cards on one chipset. The card was like 18" long... It was the first single board SLI card

Battlefield, for me, has never been about the visuals... it was about the gameplay. unfortunately, with the loss of commander mode and a callout menu (Q and T in previous BF games), they've watered down the gameplay.

There's no spotting / callout menu? Seriously?

That was one of the most useful parts of the game, both in BF2 and in BF PlayForFree. I would spot the hell out of the enemy, and calling for ammo or a medic with them was easy.

they had spotting in the alpha and beta iirc

They have spotting on the 360 version. I was spotting dudes all over the map.

Got it last night and played one game before I went to sleep and idk the name of the map but we took the first obj and I was standing there looking around was like "where's the next obj?" so next thing I know I see all my team mates jumping off the helipad and base jumping to the next obj. I thought that was epic. Lol

Yeah it was not worth being this for. That's not to say the game isn't amazing, but at this age no game is worth being exhausted at work for.

Don't get me wrong fellas, the graphics are nice, I just think they look a little to bright, like a bit on the cartoonish side. MW graphics are more how can I say it, more realistic. But all in all I'm happy with the graphics. Of course I'm talking about Multiplayer, I haven't played campaign yet but I heard the campaign graphics ARE GREAT!!! I'll be playing campaign tonight.

right, but it's not the callout menu from BF2... so you can't call for a medic unless you're LOOKING at a medic (or support)

Anyone else disappointed with this game? Personally I liked the huge maps from BC2, but this game just feels like garbage. The graphics look worse than BFBC2, the explosions definitely look worse, and all the sounds are now mediocre. I haven't tried the game with my Turtle Beach X41's but so far I'm really let down by the lack of sound and visual quality on the console version of the game. Also flying the plans is AWFUL.

Make sure you change our audio options to headphones.

I played about 3 matches of rush. So far so good. I like the game so far. 2 of the maps I played on, the enemy team had to come in from an aircraft carrier. Could make for some easy spawn trapping. That kinda bugged me. These dudes were getting spotted as soon as they left the carrier. That match I don't think any of the M coms were ever touched. I can only imagine the frustration.

Also, scrolling through the servers, I found alot of empty ones. Could make for some good times with all the Vortex guys getting in the same game. Must have 8 players in it before the game will allow you to play that certain map.
