I think the regular format works great under two conditions, 1: you're playing with a well balanced squad that sticks together or 2: don't sit around and wait for meat to walk infront of you, this goes for Recon too, which is the role I play most often, Snipe from the front lines

I went back and played some BF Bad Company 2 last night, still some great people playing and I really hope they come out with a new snowblind style map for BF3.

I also recently went back to BC2 after a few months. Plenty of full servers left, but everyone I kept playing with were either hackers or just idiots. Made me sad.

My best friend, not even a sniper guy, pulls off a 725m and then a 796m headshot with it. Luckily, I got a 402m headshot so I don't have to worry about it anymore. I dont know how he did it... my 402m was on the last tick mark of the scope.

I have an 800 something with the sv98. Theres a server thats only operation firestorm and only for bolt action snipers that I play occasionally if I want to do some distance sniping.

Operation firestorm is one of the few maps where you can get those long headshots, normally From the crane tower to spawn point, or roof top stairs to spawn point, not the easiest shot, but do-able.

Yea I realized afterwards that I was using 8x. I actually never use the 12x.

The 700m is on Gulf of Oman from aircraft carrier to construction site. Where is there a 1000m shot?

I have. I do it for the revive points. I don't play hardcore though. On some maps there are those red canisters that blow up when you shoot them. People next to them get a bad luck so they don't have to know that you tk'd them.

I checked my stats and I have a 947m headshot on firestorm. I think it was from mountain to mountain if I remember correctly.

I suck so bad at sniping which is sort of a bummer because I was quite good at it in all the previous BF games. I'm still stuck on the first rifle and haven't even unlocked any of the other ones.

If you kill an occupied tank, that counts. I tried it on a whim, and it only took about 5 seconds. You'll lose the bot, but so what.

I friended the TCL a few minutes ago. No point to join since I'm on 360, but I would like to start a TCL platoon for 360, but want your guys permission before using TCLv2. Guess I could just call it Vortex or VAG Enthusiasts.

IIRC, the new (but not newest) assignment for the shotgun is only whilst being an engineer (or some other specific kit). I had this problem too and found this out after just playing Gun Master a while.

Ok folks. I made sure Chapel was cool with the idea, and got the green light. There is now an active platoon on Xbox. The tag is TCL2. I suck as art, so if anyone is artistic and wants to design the emblem, don't hold back.

yep. in my case, 4 guys around me got killed, instead of shooting the guys tho killed em i break out my defib and revive 3 out of 4. 300 points vs 200 points. not bad i say!
