I always wondered about the para-dropping off the beacons. Learned something new

Hey, I tried turning off Anti-Aliasing at the in-game option screen on PS3 and my graphics seem to be a lot sharper. Also turned off some stereo enhancement setting. Can't really tell if it made an improvement on my headphones or not, but says it should be turned off if you have surround. Worth a shot I thinks.

See this is what I always understood with PC games - anti-aliasing made the graphics better.

For whatever reason, when I turn the setting off on PS3, the game looks way better. Everything looks soft and muddled with it on.

That tank battle map is fun, but also annoying.
Those idiots that just camp at spawn with a sniper rifle are even more annoying when there is only ONE flag to capture and you don't have it.
Oh- and all the actual tank drivers hang back and just blindly fire shells over at the enemy.

Id say so if you play a good bit and haven't bought more than two expansions, then it's worth it.

Yes, you're dreaming...those would be useful things to fix, no way that's happening.

C130 in rush now has the respawn tied to MCOM destruction. They fixed the beacon exploits so you can't get out of the map. They also fixed the ladder/vehicle exploit so no more invisible people (didn't say if they fixed the headshot glitch associated with this).

"Tried" to play a match today...first I couldn't browse any ****ing servers, then I get stuck in a normal game...then I'm top of the charts....then the game freezes when the team has less than 200 tickets left in a 1500 ticket game.



never playing this game again.

Just picked up the AF expansion pack. Seems cool, but it also seems like there isn't anyone on the servers anymore. I had a hard time finding a map with more than 20 or 30 on it.

I've been checking out hardcore squad deathmatch. Specifically the bolt action only sniper lobbies. These are kind of fun for a change. I've only got like 90 total sniper rifle kills, so it feels pretty fresh.

Those achievements enrage me so much I can barely type... I've posted about it before. FWIW, I have a fav server saved thats 24/7 scoped sniper rifles and it's policed very well.

I have finished every assignment other than the new camo ones that were just released. It gives me a purpose when playing the game. Although these are going to take forever to finish.

we have an aftermath trailer! it looks pretty neat... lets hope that i enjoy this one more than AK. For some reason, i just can't have a decent game in AK, even though i thought id domintate.

The thing i hate about AK is there are very few jeeps or atv at flag positions on conquest maps. Older BF games usually had something span there when you got the flag. On these big maps i find myself hoofing huge distances and basically getting destroyed by snipers, tanks, helis as i try to capture positions. I haven't tried rush yet though.

I was playing on our server last night and there was a clan of five Colonel 100's and they were just demolishing and base raping every game. So after a few games, I nicely send them a message saying they have to split up or find a new server, because its too lopsided. So they said to just join their team, "thats how they roll". After a few minutes I just kicked them, you should have seen all the hate mail they sent me. Lol. That's what I get for being nice I guess.

sadly... it is fun. i havent played in the past 3 weeks, and i started playing again. was on a server where for a few rounds, my team and i were just getting spanked. to the point where we couldnt get any flags even. i was so frustrated! i sniped one guy, i got the hit marker on him, and no kill. i had so many instances where i had such "wow" moments against me. i was about to quit, but then i guess somehow autobalance put me on the winning team. then all the wow moments went my way. i was in the T90 tank on gulf of oman, and I was at B, and i saw some spotted enemies at E. I just shot once for the hell of it, and bam! 2 guys dead. I saw snipers on the tower, aimed, fired, nailed 2 there too. it was so easy and fun

I thought that Aftermath trailer was kind of lame. The Armored Kill trailers blew me away, but this one, not so much.

Did you guys get your 1911 sidearms unlocked? EA Gun Club I think is the website. It's pretty beastly on hardcore. I've been killed with single hits a few times.

gunship doesnt last very long.. and once its destroyed, you have to take over an MCOM to get it back. honestly id say if the defenders had the gunship, it would be almost impossible to win. everytime someone goes to arm the mcom, just shoot there and its done.

Nahh, you just need a mediocre pilot and the gunship is only up for a few minutes. I'm not that great in jets, but I can take the Gunship down in two passes. Cry babies

i suck with the jet, and it takes me about 3 passes to take down a gunship. its about the only way I make points with jets anymore

the anti-air guns on the gunship and cram are practically useless. They need to buff those. It shouldn't take a gagillion bullets to drop a fighter jet.

I've gotten a lot better once I learned how to control my speed. I always down the gunship and most of the time I can take out choppers in one pass. Occasionally I'll down a jet in a dogfight, but I still get decimated by really good pilots.

Same for the attackers- every time you go to disarm they just shoot there and it's done.

And since when did defenders get jets on Rush?
Maybe I just spawned into a game on the side of stupid (bad team).

Nobody spawns as an engineer with a SMAW- they are all Recon snipers that camp, Engineers with RPGs, or Assault.....
