Good news - the rest of the milltek piping (as well as some RS5 piping mistakingly lol) arrived. Everything looks great, didn't get any more pics, phone was dead.

Bad news - Because of this pesky flywheel issue and my upcoming trip to Brazil (will be gone for a month), the install for this (and potentially cams if the GB price can be had again) will not take place until my return on September 8th.

Good things come to those who wait?

Honestly, I have no idea. Some of the other guys around here may know better than I do.

With that being said, fifteen52 is a great bunch of guys and company and I'm sure you won't be disappointed at all with the customer service.

I wish the Tarmacs were lighter for performance reasons but the wheels are distinguishable, strong as **** (ask ken block) and I'm happy with them.

If you have any questions, feel free. I do believe they run 299$ a wheel in 18x8.5 et 45 fitment.

What size tire you running? I think I may be a tad lower than you and was just trying to see if ill have any issues now or if i go lower. Fenders aren't rolled and not looking to if I dont have to.

225/40 for life! lol. 215/40 is the more low orientated size tire. I didn't particularly want to go to a smaller tire as I'm obviously geared more towards driving the **** out of my car. At my ride height, I don't rub at all (except if I hit a dip on the highway going 80 with people in the backseat aka never).

Ran into one of the stateofstance guys while at the car wash and we spoke a bit. Nice guy. He snapped a pic as I was washing it...just to give you an idea of how dirty the car was

To elaborate, you could go much lower with 215/40 tires on 18" fitment. Depending on how low, you'd have to roll the front fenders and possibly camber in the rear. 18x8.5 et45 isn't exactly that aggressive of a fitment.

There are a lot of great wheels on the market that are around the same price range as the tarmacs as well, the new 3dsm's from Forge come to mind.

Yeah I was looking to buy them. he was going to split the wheels from the tires(35 series no go on R) but I didnt bother to ask how much. Figured with the price plus shipping and paypal fees it would be close to a brand new set.

truthfully, I think he was asking too much. I think he wanted something like 1600 bucks or something, with tires. These are 1200 brand new. Colormatched or not and with or without tires, I thought it was too much but I'm not one to **** on someone's attempt to sell something or whatever and obviously my opinion is subjective.

He did sell them though so obviously someone thought the price was right.
