Thread: Compomotive wheels finally has a US Distributor! Our very own 1552design!

    1. 02-09-2011 11:54 PM #101
Wondering if weight will be posted for the different offerings?

And I am weighting (groan) to see a price posted for these bad boys.

18x10, why yes that sounds delicious.

      Get on it Brad
Trust me, you did get a hook-up

Shipping is from Compomotive directly to you, so it'll be about the same relative cost as for someone in the US.

Absolutely. Compomotive casts their wheels in house. They take them from the molds and keep them blank until an order is placed. This is why there's a one to four week time period after ordering, but it allows them to drill your wheels to almost any PCD and offset, as well as allowing you to choose what finish you want vs. choosing only from what's in stock.

Woahh... that changes everything. If shipping can be kept to a reasonable number I can actually see myself picking up these:

Cheers to 1552 for bringing us COMPO's.

      Chapel,

You have me racking my brain trying to remember Pat's username. His car was also the first I ever saw on Compomotive's and have loved them ever since. He lived in Central Florida at the same as I and helped me out on more than several occasions. It will come back to me...

      - I had Compomotives on my Mk1 back in 1998, best wheels I ever owned. They're far from light for a given size, but you WILL NOT find a stronger wheel. I sold these to my brother, who had his car tagged in the front end by an old LTD. The left front wheel took a direct hit and didn't bend at all, just some scuffs to show for it. The MO has always been my favorite.

      2. I love that car. Is it still around? If so, sell it to me. Now.
