^ I doubt there will be any stretch. I have to agree with Mikey though, I had 205/40 512 falkens on my Mercedes wheels and the rear wheels had such a nice subtle stretch.

18x8" are tuff, I dont have much experience with them.
I had one set of 18x8 with 215/35 Kuhmo ecsta's and they sat pretty square if that makes any sense.
#41
Nic is on a 215/35 on his 8s up front (or was with the LM reps), he said the ride was not the best. I'm in the same boat this summer, 18x8 and trying to find a decent 205/40.
#42
Suby guys run Nankang's 205/40 they say they have good stretch and decent ride…can't beat the price either. I think $70 a tire.
#43
falken 512's stretch the best.. but they are really soft, and dont last very long.
unless you NEED to fit a wheel in the fenders, and the only way to do it is, running 35's i would deffinatly suggest running a 40 series

Sorry for the crap picture but I finally did a test fit with the 20mm's spacers on the 38 Et Miro. My final Et 18I have some major poke...lol and I need to pull my rear fenders when I put on new tires. I also found some cheap tires that stretch that are 215/35 and maid by Pirelli. Hope to get some new tires on in a few weeks.

Correct James, et 18 on an 8.5 out back is actually pretty flush, as seen here:

it is. you wont have to do anything on the rear except load the suspension, it will camber in on it's own.
have fun with the fronts![]()

I really liked those wheels Geoff…wish the offset in the front wasn't so poopy.

Finally set on running 215/35's Delinte D7 tires. I hit up my buddy and he has them in stock at his shop so I'm going to get the homie price..lol He is curently running them on a 8.5 rim on his E36. Lets just hope the wheels stays true...
(sorry for the crap pics)

I finally got some new front brakes and pads in the front. Still saving up for new tireshopefully I'll have some new rubber before the end of the month on the plus side snapped some pics with my buddy last night on top of a Target parking lot. I also got some 50mm bolts in the mail along with some custom stickers I'm going to use instead of the Miro caps. I'm waiting for some custom valve stem caps and going to start building a wooden roof basket this week.
OEM++ Status..enjoy

I deff agree, my front bumper has taken a beating from dayle driving. I need a respray real bad!
I'm sure you could run a 25 mm or 30 mm safely with little to no rub.
Thanks you

you're dead on!
It looks like I have run in to a small dilemma. I purchased an 01 S4 Nogaro blue with Nogaro matching interior avant for dirt cheap a while back ago. I'm torn whether to sell my 97 1.8t qm and go to a tiptron to fund the project S. By the way The S needs some cosmetic TLC (least to say) but it has stage 3 APR chip & APR down pipes and full exhaust all I would need to do is swap my coils and wheels for the mean time before I go bags. Only reason I'm thinking of going this route is my wife and I are going to be having a baby boy this August. What would you guys do? I guess I'm to attached to my 1.8T...
Basically from this:
