Thanks. I have a Serotta Legend Ti cyclocross bike that made me a convert. Don't you also have the Fulcrum Zeros?

Edit: Build Finished and completed a maiden voyage. I love it.

Lost a jockey wheel 3/4 of a lap into my first race this year. Made it another half lap before it gave up completely. Soooo new jockey wheels. Full teardown with a good cleaning and a wax. New cables new BB (GXP that lasted 3/4 of a season) and a set of BB7's to replace my ever problematic juicy's. Have some Stan's crest on the way to wrap with race kings set up tubeless. Should shave 600+ grams from my Havocs. It's going to be like a whole new bike again.

I got a Bontrager carbon bar and a set of Shimano Deore XT brakes (M-785).

Those brakes are... insane. Probably the best upgrade I ever did.

edit: also had to get an oversized stem

    pictures!

Back from the dead. I installed some xt m785 brakes on my jamis nemesis. It came with some avid elixir 3's that I used for around 700 miles but I never really liked. There is a night and day difference between the two brakes, easily one of the best upgrades I've done.

Sunday called for a new front shifter cable and housing, and new white tape...

Washed my cross bike and lubed the chains on it, a mtb, and a road bike. I also picked this up:

Not sure how I'll build it up but I've wanted a gt road bike since I got my zaskar. I have the polished aluminum fork but will most likely use the spare ritchey carbon fork I have so I can run a threadless stem.

Put some clip on aero bars on, adamo road saddle, and the forward seat post should be in later this week. Looking to get into the triathlon scene but want to see how the new bike would feel, picture later this week when the seatpost comes in

Cygolite Explorer 1000 headlight, and Blackburn 2.0 USB "Flea" tail light. FWIW, took it for a test ride around the block...don't think I'd ever ride at night without at least a 750 lumen light.

picked up my Garmin 510 Edge bundle from the LBS today. Got home and all setup on the bike on the trainer for a quick ride. I really like the data it provides and what it's going to do once I'm actually out on the road.

One thing I can't figure out though: How to get Heartrate and Cadence to show on the display. C

Can anyone help out with that? I can't find the answer in the manual or online. I get HR peak and avg in the post ride but that's not helping me during training stay out of the red.

No pictures at the moment but I installed my new ultegra 6700 crank, cassette, and derailluers. When I went to swap the cassette I found out I need a new freehub body since my alu one is too chewed up so I'm running a spare rear wheel for a bit.

Also got a shoe refresh (electrical tape is not a testament to Sidi quality, but was to block 40F wind...didn't realize how much air got thru the mesh 'til it got cold) and went from:

Ended up having a nail snap in two and then play pinball inside my rear tire and tube yesterday morning on my ride after work. Couldn't save the tire, either Go to local bike shop and see what they have; I ended up with a Bontrager SR1 and then pulled the old Conti off of the front and put it on the rear as the SR1 didn't seem to have the lined sidewall and thicker rubber that the Conti does. I've had them just shy of 350 miles.

Got it swapped, everything replaced, took it out for a short ride and it works. All that matters and I don't have to wait the 3-6 days the store said it would take for the SportContact to come in.
    VW CEL Breakdown here.
My GLI is dead, waiting for new headwork. AEM intake, APR R1, APR TIP, ST Coilovers, Eurosport Lower Front Stress Bar, BFI Stg. 1 Motor Mount Kit, .:R32/BFI LCA Bushings, Neuspeed 28mm RSB, Forge SS w/ S2S, 42DD shift linkage bushings, Verdict Motorsports shift bracket bushings.

Been a while since i've done anything to the bikes other than our tandem. No pics unfortunately. Installed a Campy Chorus 11 crankset on my roadbike to replace my FSK Kforce which went through BB's every year or so. Bike is still Campy 10 speed and the new crank shifts flawless and is finally clunk free. New chain going on as well.

Put a new Thompson 31.8 110mm stem on the Blur LT with new Easton EC70 660mm bars which replace an old Thompson 25.4 120mm stem and Monkeylite SL bars which were 610's.

FWIW, Glory Cycles (never shopped there before) has a nice sale on the Chorus 11 group right now... was thinking about refreshing my steelie with it, and the 52/36 crankset.

Seemed to me that after about 7,000 miles the old bike was due for some new handlebar tape.

So put some nice white cork tape on. The old white handlebar tape was more gray than anything else.

While they dont have Campy (at least now) check out Merlin Cycles in the UK. Crazy low prices, free shipping, no tax. Takes only slightly longer to get your stuff. I got my Dura Ace 9000 C24 rims for $780 shipped for the pair, and my Garmin 500 with premium HR monitor and speed/cadence for $240. The Dura Ace 9000 groupset is only $1700 over there and you can get Ultegra 6700 for $750. The 2013 Red is $1360.
