this is one of the oldest adidas shoes, and they're my favourites too.
I've been wearing gazelles from 2001, so it's already 10 years that they are kind of part of me, I've got 7 pairs of them, and every time I buy another one is just beacuse the olds are broken.
I've traveled a lot, walk a lot, and change a lot in these 10 years from school to work, and they're always the best shoes ever for me, in the big moments happy, funny or bad a pair of them was always worn by me.
Some people said that this is a way of life, but I prefer to say that this is how you live life, to keep on wearing 60s look shoes is like having a 63 Beetle for daily driver

adidas makes great classic shoes -- always wanted a pair of these or sambas. everyone used to wear them back in school in the 90's.

The only pair of Adidas I've ever owned were the first shoes that Kobe Bryant released. I've always thought that these shoes would be too uncomfortable for me because I have a wide foot.

Which is why I like the Pumas better.

I may have to look into a pair of Pumas the next time I'm in the market for a new pair of shoes.

The Frankenclydes are a bit wider and have more midsole cushion than the Clydes.

pumas don't last as long as adidas in my experience. pumas tend to be more fashion and have thinner soles and can be uncomfortable too depending on model of shoe

I personally find the Puma suede/clyde to be very uncomfortable. I don't have wide feet

    Adidas samba>gazelle

I have memories of the Samba. Super comfortable!! Beats my Asics Onisuka Tiger or whatever. I'm partial to their running shoes as well.

That's because this thread is about Gazelles... not Superstars.

I have like 8 pairs of classics and 1 pair of porsche design...

    They are the best!

Getting these next week in NYC:

I have wide, flat feet. I've always worn Adidas to play soccer, and for casual wear because they fit wider than Puma. I've tried on tons of Pumas, and they've always been really tight at the right size, and too loose when I try to size up. So I side on the Adi side of the family feud.
