Soo I found myself in a pickle..I should have loosened the cam pully before taking timming belt off..so because of that, I had to make (cause I'm cheap and I wanted to try to make one first) a arm to hold the cam while I loosen the nut... It worked!! soo I got the cam pully off. And now. I just need to take the bottom alternator pully off to take the timming belt out.

    Anyways! Cheers!

I got everything back togather on weds and have been driving it sense. I had a few problems with the coolent system being airlocked and I ended up having to replace my oil cooler. Now on my list of things is to get my injection pump timmed perfectely and get my down pipe rewelded..I'm hoping to pick up some cheap rokkors soon so I can "lower it" . Also waiting for my tax return to come back so I can get my other 2 adaptors as right now I doing a work term for school and its not paid soo I'm kinda broke.. but all is will! It'll be done, even if its not when I'd like it to be.

Iv also been cleaning and making sure my OEM euro bumpers are perfect before I get them painted

    Anyways, cheers guys!

Wil I got the car back togather and everything running as close to properly as possible, been driving the car for the last week without any problems. Gonna be getting my down pipe rewelded tomorrow, sadly I can't do it myself because kyle lost the tip to the welder.. -_- soo now I gotta pay to get it done..

Anyways, today when I get back from work, ill be ordering my other two adaptors. Also looking at picking up a set of coilovers tuesday night hopfully and then hopfully put them on thursday, camber the rears and drop it!

Also, I'm trying to decide if I want to sand down and apply high build filler primer to my textured tops..as I'm not sure that I wanna stay textured..but if I decide to go smooth, I have to sand the euro tops...but I'm affaid I might mess up the bumper..Iv heard ppl sanding them with, 60,80,120,220,320,420? Or use mulitply layers of high build primer? Fill with spot putty/bondo(sounds like a crack hazard)? I wanna go for a clean, classy look.

well...sad story..driving the car home from work friday, doing 110 and started to see steam come from under the hood, was going up a hill, car started to slow down (WTF) so i hit the gas, black smoke started shooting out like crazy then the engine shut off..opened the hood, all coolent gone, bottom hose ripped and engine barely turns over..i think it over heated on me (temp gauge said car was fine) and ****ed itself..

    -shifter box and cables

I still need a TDI starter, but i think i may have found one of those.. waiting for the guy to get back from out west.. Also stiil need an N75 guys. does anyone have one?

Also if anyone has a DIY on relocating the battery to the trunk ( wiring that is) thatll be great. i have an idea, but wanna make sure i put the right size wire with it being a deisel and a big ass 1000+ CCA battery.. I have 0/1 gauge wire that im gonna take from my stereo setup.

my other plan is to redue the false floor in my trunk with the battery, sub and amp all at the back of the seat away.. This is what im thinking.. but im not sure what to do with bringin power to the inside..

so far i have changed water pump now with a new metal bosch one.

Also the harness so far.. got everything pretty well laid out. now gonna label the connectors that i know SLASH 75% know lol. ALso gonna split it up, where the battery goes so that its not one big harness, but 3 small ones?. The right side is the ECU controled harness, and im gonna split that apart from the left side, which is fan stuff ect. never really gave it a really big look over to much yet. Looking a little easyer now..

IF anyone has any ideas on what some connectors or sections of the harness are for, let me know..

Not too sure what this one is.. just a random wire coming from the firewall on its own?

****ty picture, but this is the fan harness from what i can tell

And the engine harness / ECU part

Not to sure what this part of the harness is...

I believe that it would be the windshield wiper harness, heated washer nozzles, alarm horn, that kind of stuff looks like its comming along nicely My swap runs great getting 45 mpg with the aaz still some tuning left though, hoping to get 50mpg soon
