      Thanks for that

PS: The Buick is more practical for family/winter use though...
I have a small family and they fit in the GTO just fine lol, winter is a different issue as I'm sure it will do just fine with some snow tires but mine has never been driven on snow.

Hopefully this becomes available just to have an excuse to make the family grow.

Come on! Even Cathy's mom isn't old enough to drive a Buick! Or is she using the silverado as a minivan? Either way, Sharp car. Wheels remind me of the c5 a6 wheels.

really cool if you're not into that kind of car.

I had a Camry - it was nice to turn your brain off and arrive at your destination.

I love what Buick is doing and who they're becoming. These are available with a true manual correct?

On a side note, I'm counting down the days 'til I see those wheels on a VAG product, say a MKV Golf. Very reminiscent of the A8 monoblocks.

LOL. We were just joking with her parents that they should be able to get senior discounts now! She'll most likely drive the Buick more than I. Hell, I hardly drive how it is since I work at home.

Yes, manual transmissions are supposed to be available but I have yet to see one.

Thanks! I am sure my grandmother will love it. I talked her into getting a LaCrosse about 6 months ago and she loves it...yes, it is beige (gold mist).

Congrats on the new car and for the timely thread!

In the past couple of days I have been on Buick's site building out CXL Turbos - such a compelling package at a reasonable price. (And sweeter still as I'm eligible for a GM supplier discount).

If I took the plunge (would be in a few months) I would be going with the TO3 package - I really have no desire for 19" wheels. I think I might also wait for the Verano to arrive and test drive both of them.

      Best of luck with it!!

Brutally cold and snowy?! It's beautiful today man, the snow is all melting.

Good choice on that car I saw one yesterday on the way to work. I really love those wheels.

Interesting choice in car. I like that it's a somewhat unsual car at the current time. I haven't driven one so I can't offer my opinion on what I think of the car overall or how much of a value proposition it is. Though for a sticker of just under $30k for the base model turbo, it seems a bit much to me going just by the numbers.

And like the regular versions of the new Jetta and Passat, this also looks too sedate for my tastes. Too much chrome as well. Here's to hopeing the GS fixes all those complaints and doesn't start at like $36k. Good luck and I hope it treats you as well or better than the Jetta it replaced.

They actually have a 19" accessory wheel that looks really damn good on the configurator for this car. Makes the sedate lines look a bit more exciting---though they are stupid expensive at like $4k for the wheel package.

But add those wheels, remove as much chrome as possible, drop it slightly, and add a slightly more aggressive front bumper and that car could be a real knock-out!

Very nice, if Im ever in the market for a Sedan again, the Regal is one at the top of my list. That and the Verano are looking very nice. My only complaint is the lack of colour options they have for these cars.

Also, is there any confirmation about the Regal wagon yet coming here? Or any rumours at least?

There's a Regal in my office's parking garage that I see a few times a week. Shockingly good looking car.

Thanks and don't test drive unless you are willing to buy or you will hate yourself

On paper I would agree. But just like a lot of other things, you cannot judge the car until you experience it. Same reason people would buy a GTI over a SRT-4.

The accessory wheels are sharp and those other things would be nice...but it is a lease

No confirmation on the wagon - just hopeful thinking at this point.

For the colors, my top two choices (with black interior) could not be located within 250 miles (metallic blue and metallic gray). There were several metallic blue with cashmere interior but did not want that because cashmere includes "wood" accents. Silver was my third choice but looks great so I cannot complain

Sorry dude but those look super cheap.

And let me add about the wheels - they look so much in person as they have a slight "dish" to them. Also, they look cooler when taken in an artsy way...

How's the motor compared to other cars you've driven?

For a 4-cylinder, it compares quite well. Very flat torque curve. Would say it compares favorably with the VW/Audi 2.0T. But like I said previously, haven't exactly been able to really beat on it yet as it is only has 60 miles on it...
