    awesome man!

my grandma rescued a duckling one summer at our family lake cottage when i was young. ever since then, i've wanted a duck of my own. plus, ducks rule.

i plan on owning a duck to hang around the house, and a goat to mow my grass for me.
    welcome to the layer cake

I helped my kid raise 4 Indian Runner ducks for a 4H project. They were a ton of fun. They loved playing in the house, but they had an enclosure in the yard with a pool that they spent most of their time in. The kids and dog loved playing in the yard with them. One of them made buddies with the dog and would climb up on the dogs back and quack like it was playing king of the mountain. They figured out how to slide down the kids swingset slide too. They would do that all day long. They went up the slide, turned a round and then flopped down in flapping their teeny wings.

Has Oregon ever pecked you? Does it hurt? Do any other birds ever land in the yard and interact with Oregon?

For a treat (be prepared for a mess later though) maybe try some watermelon. My parents do wildlife rehab and we give the mallards watermelon in the summer. They absolutely go nuts over it. Not sure if pet ducks are any different, but just a thought. Romaine lettuce was their second fave, but much less messy so they got that most days
