DUBS N GRUB - WESTCHESTER,NY: The Official GTG and Chit-Chat Thread

Hi all Westchester and surrounding area dubs! Its official, we are going to start (better yet, attempt) to have a solid Westchester meet going. A few friends and I, who own Volkswagens, Audis, and other misc. VAG have a small bi-weekly meet going on with many spots scoped out for food and photoshoots in mind. We call the GTG itself Dubs n Grub. Why "Dubs n Grub"? Well why not? We own dubs and what we usually do at GTGs is EAT!
We really havent made the effort to make it a big meet due to our busy schedules, but with our new found time in our schedules and warm weather ahead, we figured we would make a push to unite Westchester Dubs regardless of your group association, slammed or 4x4 status, fake splits or BBS RSs, scenester or the independent dubber, we want to put a great GTG for all dubs.

We do have the experience and drive to make it big, but the real obstacle is making it a good constant turn out. We did have a BIG meet last year around this time, well over 35 cars made it out (check out the pics below). Dubs n Grub is more than just GTGs, we do the occasional cruise thru Bear Mtn from time to time in the spring as well. We cant do it ourselves so we figure we would spread the word, hear you guys out and post some suggestions!

We do have a Tri-State VAG BBM group to keep in touch, if you would like to join send me a BBM or PM me. Many of us have ties with local clubs NERD, DoQ, Three.8 Werks, Team ACE, EEM, etc. (but no pressure into joining them, we are just members that want to get a solid local gtg going). Where: Lower Level Parking Lot at the Stop & Shop in Port Chester, NY (far end where nearest to Purdy Street where we arent enclosed)

Weather:
This will be a rain or shine GTG. This location is perfect in the sense that if we need to we can relocate more towards Stop and Shop OR upstairs and be enclosed in case it is windy or raining.

Grub:
There are a few options- Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebees, Panera Bread all within the Mall. We usually stick to BWW, but there are options

anyone have experience w either the ecs dogbone inserts or the bfi inserts...trying to figure out which one is better but its pretty much split and they are about the same price. the mount i have itself is in good shape so i dont need the whole thing. just lookin for some thoughs
