Picked all of this and a passenger airbag up today in mint condition for 40 bucks. Gonna finally fix my heater core now that its summer while the dash is out. woulda been nice to find this deal in the winter

Finally got some clean pictures with the Joey modded headlights and fogs
Cleaned and degreased the engine bay. .
and found some more problems
the running hot is due to the fact that the belt driven fan isnt working due to the belt being non existent. my battery cables are cut and frayed. And my coolant tank is leaking on the center seem. I got my engine codes down from 5 to 1. Now i only have a main catalyst below threshold? What are some possibilites for this issue? my buddy said the cat was done with the exhaust lesss than a year ago. Could o2 sensors be my issue?

so the car got towed by a crazy shady company and now its f@cked up. I went to pick it up they charged me an insane amount of money, cash only and my car was hidden behind a tractor trailer in front of a gti they had in pieces that needed a motor and right next to my car same story with two eclipses.
Anyway since i got it back it doesn't want to start right and is now when i let off the gass it wont idle it revs at like 1800 rpms. i disconnected and reconnected the throttle body and did a throttle body alignment in Vagcom and still have the same issue. I also now have a coolant temp sensor code that i never had prior as well as an evap leak. Can these be my issues and if not what are some things to consider?

check the hoses going to the throttle body cause those were causing an EVAP code for me. I had the reving issue when my throttle body plug wires got melted so check those.

all vaccuum lines as well as sai and kombi valve lines have been replaced just before towing. That was what i would have originally thought if they hadnt just been done
a little update. Had the front clip off again this weekend. put a fan belt on changed the coolant reservoir and all 3 coolant temp sensors. Cars running like a champ again. In doing the belt though i nicked the radiator and its leaking looks like the front clip will be off again.
Just a question. Now with the new coolant temp sensors and the belt on the fan, the temp gauge is staying right at half way. I was on the highway doing like 85 and after an hour and a half it started climbing up to the 230 degree mark again I thought the belt slipped off but it didnt. And the coolant was still at the max line. Looks like ill be doing a low temp thermostat and fan switch unles someone has another idea of what this could be. The fan appears to be running correctly. I know its supposed to run at a higher speed if the a/c is on but my a/c doesnt work so i never see that higher speed. Would it click onto a higher speed at anypoint without the a/c. Im questioning whether my fcm is working properly or not?

Well it was a somewhat productive rainy weekend. Went out for a wakeboard session Saturday morning, got caught in the perfect storm in the bay, stopped for a piss break in my pancho So then we pulled the boat out as soon as we got back and the Fopps got to work....
Then Today I finally got motivated to put my euro FER smoked turns in. Got the Dremel out and they fit like OEM
Also rigged together my OEM sideskirt strips and endcaps that I finally tracked down and slapped them on. Made a world of a difference.
Other than that just partially gutted my interior to get my black/ partial suede interior swap going. as of now bottom trim is in. Gonna paint the top trim pieces using interior paint. Any Suggestions on what paint to use?
I also have in progress is my half empty Heineken mini keg ill be turning into a heat shield once empty
Also got a 2.9 clone manifold being made bypassing the corner down by cylinders 5&6 as well as the opposite top corner simulated by yellow lines.

Yes temperature issue has been solved I drove around that way and it was indeed hot. But the issue has been taken care of now.

yeah ones bent and they were sprayed gun metal, came out pretty well but it was a few years ago, definitely need to be refinished, and center caps arent in the best shape either, my boy redbeard has some RXIIs (16x7 i think) I keep trying to get him to part with but hes resisting haha
Well I escaped fathers day dinner for a while and got my dremel on.....
I finished it up but it was nightime Ill snap a shot tomorrow after work.The cutout in the plastic top of the mini keg is a perfect cut for the maf wiring..makes it seem like these things were made to be recycled like this

Got my heatshield keg done and fitting snug as can be.. Its like the spout area in the plastic was made for the MAF just required very mild trimming.
Also just got my Ecodes, euro wiring harness OEM Euro Switch in pretty stoked to get some time to put it all in.
