Not that can be easily noticed....depending on road conditions it may actually help both.

As far as binding goes, people are really making it out to be more than it is. If you are making a tight slow manuever and have the wheels locked, yes it will bind....its not some crazy grinding just a little shimmy in the steering wheel or a real faint clunk. If you keep it in your mind...even in the very back you should have no issues. It kind of becomes second nature. People that don't buy the comp controller because of this are ignorant. Once you drive an .:R with it you'll understand

I'M TIRED OF THIS THREAD!!! I wish people would actually read the thread, they would know the answers to their questions before posting!! If you are new to this thread and you have questions about binding or the difference between Blue or Agent Orange (Competition) please read the post and or see the Dyno Graph posted by HPA showing the difference between the three controllers (Stock, Blue, Comp). The same questions get asked and answered over and over again!

If you have any "NEW" information, or you just got a controller and you wand to post your thoughts and or experiences, cool! If you want to be like Aircooled56 and post a DOPE A$$ picture of you pushing your .:R (especially at the track) that's what I'm talking about!!! We need MOAR "NEW" content on this thread and not answer the same questions over and over and over and over............................................. Let's keep it fresh VORTEX!!!!!
UNDER STEER MUST DIE!!! As my skills/abilities increase UNDER STEER magically disappears!!!
Stock is like virginity: Useless and should be gotten rid as soon as possible!!!!

It would be great to have/see what our actual controllers do vs comparing what the newer haldex setups do. Also would be great to see if there are differences in how the different generations react. Thanks

I will look into this for you. With our Superflow dyno, we should be able to re-create something for the Gen.1....

Thanks for asking a "New" question for a change. I have been wondering the same thing, and it would not be a stretch to thing we are not the only ones. We a wait the results!

Agreed. We are in the process of building a new website...with new graphics, etc.

Having dyno graphs for all the Haldex controllers was in the works anyway...so we will make sure and post it here when available.

Ok, Marcel says no binding,,,, but new competion owners say it still binds?

Please clear this up for us, and lets roll out the Christmas sale early so I can put my controller on before it gets cold....

      Thanks

      Bill

Second that. Clarity. I live in CO and am about to buy my first R It sounds like the bind being referred to is similar to that of a 4x4 truck with 4wd engaged and trying to turn (aka locked center diff). Someone please tell me it won't act like that.

More inventory is on the way soon...and I have a couple Gen.1 left on the shelf if you are interested. They will go quick...

E-mail or IM me for pricing.
I'm interested. Can you PM a quote? Also, concerned about binding issue at slow speed. Living in CO and want to know how it would affect snow driving too. Thanks

I am assuming 'Sport' version is the Blue Haldex Gen 1 controller, which North America has a
sole distributor for that. HPA is Canada's sole distributor and the sole seller of the Competition
controller. Correct me if I am wrong.

Probably why I was always ignored when asking them to sell me a blue one.

The car will transfer all available TQ to the rear and hold it there under brake application. So when you jump back on WOT, you will create an oversteer condition if desired. It will make the car rotate across front and rear axles if the driver requests this via throttle input.

We are exclusive on the Stealth Competition controller, correct. We distribute worldwide (not just in Canada)...
