I just feel like that spark isnt there. Not getting enough hits, less home runs, more errors.

Meh. I think we're just all spoiled after the last 10 years. Even though the bats are old now, there is still definitely that *it* factor surrounding the team. I was able to drive up for a few regular season games last year, and game 1 of the NLDS - you still feel it when you're there.

Saying that - if the team gets off to a turrible start w/o Utley and Howard, it could be Giants of last year type of ridiculously inept offensive season. However, if Victorino and Pence can get off to hot starts and they single-handedly keep the team in or near first until June - it could still be a fun year.

ive still got hopes. we got boatloads of talent. just need to sync up defensively, and figure out the batting order.

our schedule is not at all tough, and filled with a bunch of series that we should win. just a matter of doing it.

are you guys seriously doubting this team? with one of the best closers in the league, and a couple of what should be the best pitchers, i don't see why we should'nt win over 90 this year. remember we should've won well more than we did last year and still came out with 102 or 103 or something.

if we get runs, we get wins. hands down.

Its all about the offense this year. We lost our hitters. Once we start hitting the bats we'll be good. We just need enough runs for the pitchers to win us games.

I'd like to see them go down so I could start going again.. and even with all this the phils are only 3 games behind the 1st place team.. I think thats the best part they haven't had utley or howard. Lee was out Worley has been out now Halladay is out. Yet they are only 3 games behind the 1st place team in their division

Just go on stubhub the moring of a game, I've never had trouble getting face value tickets.

It is very encouraging that they're hanging in there. 86-87 wins may do it this year, with all the teams being decent (and beating up on each other)

Dickey wasn't at his ultimate but we still hit really well against him. He's still a ****ing nasty pitcher though. Hamels looked good, Bastardo didn't let up 5 runs, and I thought we were still in the clear but that son of a bitch came in and teed up a shot for Wright.

I have tickets for Saturday against the Braves. It'll be a refreshing 102° but at least I have a chance of seeing Howard back in the mix. I'll be sure to drink plenty of beers to keep cool.
