its been a while since ive posted on here, well being jobless and having no money to get supplies had me at a hault, but now that i got a job im startin to work on the car again

just ordered 4 new fuel injectors the ones in it right now are no good, one sprays a crappy stream and the other 3 dribble, get the new ones in tomorow, and probably go to pick n pull too and snag the brass inserts off the scirocco up there and replace the plastic ones that are in

cant wait to replace them, should run way better

    I haven't seen a MK2 with Indiana Red - (A MK1 color) that would be pretty awesome I think.

Classic color on a car with classic lines.

Get that bondo fixed first tho!

i got some racelands, just ordered them not even an hour ago

yeah door alignment stinks, takes a little time but its worth it, every time im driving and look in the mirror i see it just a little off and it drives me crazy!

cant wait to get my scirocco done, cause there are really just 3-4 sciroccos running around here, one is clean, mine and a friends are just rat rods right now, and another one is in ok shape and one color, been hoping to run into to him and bs with him

hows your rocco coming along euro

Dang my neighborhood is kind of the same, I see a couple here and there but now i know them all lol. only one of them uses vortex and he just traded his black euro spec 16v Scirocco that he just painted for a mk2 golf with an auto.

But yeah i am still doing prep work, almost done with sanding but now pretty soon i will have to start with the bondo work. I've never done it so that may take a while too lol. Of course my $80 replacement fender is the fender that needs work

Actually i am going to try and post that project thread up today. I think i am far enough to get one started.

why would he trade a scirocco for a mk2 golf, , i would never do that, that is all you see around any more, with the jettas and gtis

couple tips with working with bondo, spread a thin layer on and try to shave as much off as you can

cant wait to see your thread up

going to clean it up and swap it out with the old one tomorrow

but when i came out of pick n pull, lo and behold there was another vw parked next to my rocco

    Photobucket

i waited for a little bit to see if he would come out, and he did, we talked for a little bit

well its been a while since i posted, work has slowed down, so i may have some more time to work on the car, but limited on some things

    what i got planned:
    get parts car
    swap some parts
    finish body work
    make front air dam
    redo the bumpers
rebuild a motor (gonna take some time)
    primer
    paint

    take it for a cruise

probably goin to start back up on working on the car

this may be funny to some of you but it sure as hell pissed me off

was hanging out at a friends place, i left the windows open to keep it cool. my friend desisded to open the door and have a breeze cool off the house, and gives me a holler. He told me there was a cat in my car, so i get up and walked out and the cat ran off, i looked in the car to see if he did anything, i smelt some thing a little bit funny, and i looked in the back, the little $h!t marked the top of my back seat, i cleaned it up as much as i can but it stinks still

well today i got some stuff accomplished

did some more body work, sanded and sprayed a layer of primer on the roof

but the biggest thing I'm happy with is, i cleaned up the rear tail light i had laying around the garage, had plans to switch it out with the one on it cause it has cracks and holes in it

after sanding with heavy grit sand paper

    after wet sanding

after a couple coats of wax (first pic hasnt been polished yet)

now i need to get a rear left tail light so i can do the same thing to it and have a matching set

well today after i got done at the gym i came out and noticed i had a flat........

it wasnt to bad i was still able to get it home, so i got it home and pumped the tire up, i found the cause, it was a screw that seems to be in there for a bit and leaking slowly, so i went to my grandpas and we fixed it in less then 10 minutes using his plug gun

going to invest in one, very handy little tool

well i was happy with what i did with the bumpers, but i have a new idea, im going to cut the re-bar in half and suck it in even more and make new fiberglass bumpers

because i saw this one scirocco on here that had really nice bumpers, they were sucked up and in (more than the euro bumpers) and was really sleek looking, ill try to find a picture of it
