I should be getting my car back tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest! I'm so excited.

So, ordered a set of triple squares [also known as 12 point torx or 'XZN' bits] since I was retarded and forgot to make sure I had all the tools I needed for the brake install.
I wanted to share this set because it's pretty complete and reasonably priced. Comes with a lifetime warranty and look decent. I will end up testing the 14mm in the coming weeks but finding a good set of these is kind of like finding gold.
The price was right to try them out and they have great reviews on amazon.com, if you're not stuck on brand names these [pending usage] might be a great alternative to more expensive sets of similar size from Snap On or Mac Tools of $50+ [running off memory anyways]. I know the Snap On's are made in Taiwan, as are these VIM Tools.
Link on amazon.com Currently about $33 shipped. Price went up $3 since I ordered it last week so it may fluxuate some.

This is the same set I have; held up great through multiple uses so far.
I got them for $26 shipped though, guess they went up again![]()

Oooh!
Hey, wanted to ask you a question. I just finished the HPA Core Interlock Mount install and wondered if the HPA mount is supposed to peek out a bit of the housing it sits in.
It's thicker than the OEM mount and noticed I couldn't get it in any further despite it still "peeking" out some.
Holy Milltek.
Tarmacs cut it close.

Mike: Interesting, I'm pretty sure mine was flush or fairly flush [maybe a few mm sticking out]. Maybe go back after some miles and see if it's worked itself in a little and tighten it down? I used axle grease on mine to help get it in so it's possible that you're just seeing a lot of surface friction which isn't allowing it to move [just speculation]. How much is 'a bit' of peeking would you say? I'll double check for you when I have the car on the lift to do the rear brakes.
On a side note, how do you like it so far?!

I completely agree with you! If I didn't need to car on a daily basis, I'd be all over it! Just going to have to make time I guess, just wish I didn't have to let the paint cure for 24 hours lol.
On a side note, my dealer was pushing the mechatronic recall, after telling them I'm not having any issues and that I'm worried it will cause problems they agreed and said that I should wait as there isn't an expiration date for the recall.

I think the price was originally around $750. Not sure how much it would be if you ordered one.

I actually managed to look under the car this morning and it's exactly like you said - it seems to have worked itself in a bit more and is pretty flush with the housing now. Phew, I was worried at first lol. I mean, I was certain we inserted it properly.
How do I like it?
I ****ing LOVE it dude. It's AWWWWWWEEEEEEEESOME. For lack of a better way to put it, the car just feels faster.

Tossing around the idea of getting a bike for my commute. Would love a sports bike, but I love the look of the Harley Davidson Iron 883 Sportster.
Any input?

I couldn't agree more. Don't know where you live but during the time i lived in San Diego, the car rarely went to work with me unless it was raining. I really enjoyed the ride to and from work. Gas mileage is insane, excellent parking, and i could lane split at stop lights. I started on a Daytona 675and moved up to my current bike, a Ducati 848.

Thanks for the input! The Daytona 675 is a gorgeous bike, add that to my list of stuff to look at. Suppose to best thing to do is get on some of these bikes and get an idea of how it feels to ride.
I live just South of Orlando, FL. Lane splitting isn't legal here as it is in California, lol.

So how hard is it to do the glove box thingy??? This car is really commin along and as far as a bike goes, I ride. I have 04 Suzuki Marauder 1600, first bike too. All I can say is MPG is good stuff when you are in between paychecks. If you have a motorcycle trainng thing around you, take it! It made all the difference in the world and even guys with years of EXP were in my class and said they found things out they didn't know...plus ya get a discount on insurance after you pass...

Don't know it until you've tried it.
Wasn't sure if I wanted to permanently have black calipers so I dipped them and it worked perfectly.
Back to blue for now.
I've had my class M license for over three years now, and it's definitely not worth it.
When people buy bikes for commuting and to save on gas money, things get ugly quick.
If you insist though, please take MSF course.

I appreciate your trying to save me from myself PSU, but just because I rationalize purchasing a bike for commuting doesn't mean I haven't ridden a bike and don't want one for the fun and joy of riding.
My brother had a Kawasaki Ninja and I really enjoyed riding it, so I'm more or less using this as a good excuse for my other half. She wants me to get a CBR1000, I asked her if she wanted to be a single mom, lol. I'm wanting something less intense for my first bike.
