Same here. Seems the Tigers often have problems against Chen. They seem to have issues with most finesse pitchers.

Im more nervous about Porcello starting....it seems when his sinker stays up he gets hit hard. Because basically thats all he has

But our offense has been coming through with clutch hits in the past week, I think we sweep the series

With Porcello on the mound, I would sit Peralta and go with Danny Worth as he as more range for all of those ground balls.

And I want to punch anyone that mentions WAR in support of Trout for MVP. Why is it bogus? Ben Zobrist had a WAR of 8.5 last year which would be second highest this year. Here are his stats from last year: http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/stats/...36/ben-zobrist

8.5 WAR = .269 AVG / .353 OBP / .469 SLG / .822 OPS / 20 HR / 91 RBI / 99 R / 158 H / 46 2B / 6 3B / 77 BB / 128 BB / 19 SB / 6 CS

"Based upon the all powerful WAR, I propose that we go back and give the MVPs to the players with the highest WAR for each season. Congratulations to newly crowned two-time AL MVP Ben Zobrist (2009 & 2011). Zobrist finished 8th and 16th in MVP voting in those two seasons, but now he is one of the all-time greats after being awarded 2 MVPs in 3 seasons. Congratulations are also in order to 2008 AL (WAR) MVP Nick Markakis, who didn't receive a SINGLE MVP vote in 2008. The 2006 AL MVP is now Grady Sizemore, even though he finished 11th in MVP voting that season. If only the voters knew about WAR, imagine how different baseball history would look."

Congrats to our triple crown winner Miguel Cabrera....greatest hitter of my lifetime for sure. It's been a privilege to watch this guy play the game. Here's to more MVP seasons in the years to come!

Its an aamzing feat when you think about just how tough this is. I mean you have guys that are geared to hitting homers and guys that specialize in batting runs in, and hitters like Ichiro that consistenly hit .320, and Cabrera is out there doing it all. Truly amazing, may never happen in my lifetime again
