I've done a mini version of that while leaving a stoplight next to a cop. Stupid 5 puck clutch on a CRX with crappy tires...

Coming from a cop, his reaction is a little over board. People do things like this all the time when we are on traffic stops for example. I will be standing next to a car and a moron will drive past, then floor it/honk/peel out, etc all the time. My general reaction is to go pull them over and I always ask the same thing:

"Hi. The reason I am pulling you over is because you clearly wanted my attention so now you have it."

Then it just goes from there. No reason to mother-$^ck the guy. He is just an idiot.

If I had been that officer, I would've grabbed my laptop and repeatedly slammed it over their heads until I had sufficient evidence that either of the following had happened:

    A) The laptop was rendered unusable as a beating tool

    or

    B) The stupid had been removed from those kid's heads.

I'm thinking it might have to do with, what appeared to be, a general lack of respect on the tool bags part.

Not that I'm justifying it, just sayin'

Exhibition of Speed. Nasty ticket. I think that cop is pissed at the arrogance of doing it right in front of him after what appears to be a traffic stop moments before.

See, when people frequently deal with police on a non business level and refer to them as pigs. Its often from those who have been in trouble (more than once) or couldn't get a job in LE due to varying circumstances.

Agreed though like any profession, there are bad apples.

That's my thought as well. I think he must've gotten a warning or something. And then he gets slapped in the face like this. Also headed towards a crowd, etc.

this was clearly a stupid move, but that it is expected of a teenager, teenager and stupid go hand in hand. The cop on the other hand is supposed to be a trained professional, but instead is acting no better than a street thug. You would earn a lot more respect if you refrain from using such profanity and act in a professional manner.

I remember when I was in high school there were two teachers that stood out above the rest. One for being thought off as the dumbest and least respected of all the teachers in the school and the other for being the smartest and most respected teacher in the school. One thought that by cursing and yelling he could get the kids to respect him with no results, the other always talked to you in a respectful and professional manner and in turn was treated the same by all the students.

We don't know what transpired before the kid did this. He very well could have been a dick to the cop before he sped off. I don't mind that the cop dropped a few f bombs.

Yeah but disrespect wasn't just to the officer personally, but to his department and his badge. I'm glad he cussed the turd out... he deserved it... should have flushed his ass too
