My old trail beater, got it from friend for $700, sold it back to him 2 years later for $100. I/we both agreed that renting it for $300 a year was fair. It had the 6:1 creeper. It set itself on fire in a creek. Might have had something to do with a previous fuel line "repair". I killed the motor, put it out with a fire extinguisher, wiped a clean spot in the windshield, fired it right up, and drove out of the creek.
It was just too big for 4-wheeler trails.
Pic the day I got it (2003ish)

Mine gets used heavily as a tow rig (RV and cars/tractors on a 3500lb float) but i do get offroad once in a while when i go fishing or hunting. It's got bilstein 5100's on it, adjusted to level it out, summer i run 285/55R20 Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 tires (E rated 10ply) and in the winter i switch to 275/65R18 Goodyear duratrac's with studs (these are awesome in mud and snow.

Nice Ecoboost you have there. 6' bed (right?) with a Crew Cab.. that's rare. These trucks are awesome. Smooth, powerful, comfortable. Here's mine, a fairly plain-Jane 2012 XLT with Ecoboost:

How's your towing mileage been up to date? i'm hovering around 10mpg towing my Dutchmen around.

Might be a regional thing, most of the crewcabs here have trhe 6.5ft bed.
