Your picture looks like a picasso, but there should be only one wire connected to it with a big bolt, that's the one you wanna replace 。

Looking to upgrade my sound system and I've been doing the Big 3 upgrade (upgrade engine ground, battery ground, and alternator power wire). I've been following this DIY made for a VR6, and I got the 2 ground wires done.. but I'm wondering where the bolt for the alternator is at.
I found this from looking at the top of the engine, is this what I want?
Thanks a bunch.

Thanks, I try
Haha alright well if there's only one wire connected to it, then that's definitely it.
It doesn't have a ground wire or anything? (total n00b when it comes to engines if you couldn't tell)
Thanks man.

It's grounding itself out through itself, through the main bracketry to the motor itself

I'm sure you allready know this but just to double check:
Be sure that you disconnect the ground wire from your battery before removing this wire. If you don't, this could short to anything that is grounded(i.e. almost any metal in the engine bay)

how much cable did you end up using? any suggestions for battery terminals? pics?

This thread is from last year. The thread starter hasn't been on since 3/20/2012. Might wanna shoot him an email.
Here's the thread that he used as a guide. It says 7 feet.
