I called BFI and asked and they said the only mount they sale with the bolts is the trans mount.
So I ordered the VF Engineering rear mount off ECS as it's a whole piece I believe.
The oil and water coolant lines came on turbo, they are pretty snazzy!
Looks like sarcasm to me, but I'm doing what I can, while I can. This is my daily and it's taking every penny I have at the moment to get it rolling again. Yes the cam, obd1 head will come in the future, this is not a permanent setup. Maybe MS in the future when I pull the motor for a tuck and respray. As for the obdI block, if I come across one it will be swapped, but I'm pretty sure I will be A-OK with an obdII block with IE rods & JE pistons with the power I'm looking for, but thanks for your criticism.
Now moving on to some updates.
Pulled the core support off the car so I can shave what needs to be shaved when I mount the Air/Water heat exchanger. Also looked at where I'm going to be mounting the radiator an inch or two back.
Then pulled some goodies out the box and just played around in my head for awhile trying to think out where everything is going to be.
Then I went to the trunk and pulled up the carpet and took out this thing.
So I could look at the nastyness that can be seen below.
Just threw in the Ice Box for the Air/Water to see my clearances and what not, I assure you when it's in there for good it will look very very nice.
Ordered the rest of my parts today as well,
That's all for today, gotta go work on the fiance's Jeep.
Laterrrrr.

600!? on sale?! lol.
Just go c2 stage 2 man, under 400bucks and the best tune you can put on your car out of the box (arguably), they will even custom burn your chip to your needs if you want.
Ohh and about the sig, yeah I was up late one night and came across the original Psalm and threw it together.![]()

So today I got some more work done, none of it is really too interesting but everybody loves pics.
Started the day with wondering how on earth I was going to get the OEM radiator fan setup out from behind the radiator without disconnecting anything.
So I tugged, I pulled, & tugged some more until I got to this point and was stuck for a bit.
But I persisted and soon, wallahhh.
Now that that over-sized eye sore is out of the way, I can move the radiator back to mount my heat exchanger. I started to fab up some new mounting tabs for the radiator out of some scrap steel I had laying around.
Which took longer than it should have because I was using a grinding wheel to do a cutting wheels job.
Mocked up the tabs, made sure everything lined up.
Welded the tab in place and temporarily through some paint on it so rust wouldn't get too bad.
That said, yes my welds are atrocious as I'm still learning and the wire that came with the welder just plain sucks, but they are doing their job. Also, while I mentioned rust, some of you might see that there is quite a lot of it on this car. I will be doing my best to get rid of most of it whether grinding it down and painting over it or just using some rust converter.
That's it for the day peoples. Slowly progressing.![]()

Got the radiator mounts finished up today and it's bolted in a little more than an inch from where it previously was. Should have pics of the nice all aluminum air/water heat exchanger mounted up tomorrow! After that I will be able to put the front end back together.. god knows I miss her face.
Btw, I was looking inside my throttle body tonight and thought, damn, it really doesn't look or feel too smooth in there. It was actually kind of rough.
Soo, I grabbed some 1000 and 2000 grit, WD40, and mirror polished the inside of my throttle body, cleaned it and got it painted to match the underside of the upper intake manifold. Personally I think it looks a thousand times better than it did before, whether it will make any performance gain I doubt, but it's one of those small things I will know that's there when I'm driving it.
Tomorrow is Saturday (technically it is right now but you get the point) and I should be putting in a full days worth of work.![]()

Well guys, if I wouldn't had [nater removed pic here] up earlier today I would probably have a nice sized update here.
But, do to a little accident I had while grinding I had to stop for the day.
What happened was, the angle grinder caught the metal hard and threw it's self into my A/C condenser. You can hear the leak in this vid,
So I had a couple small holes in it and it was leaking, I tried to quick fix it but I realized I was going to have to wait a couple hours for all of the pressure to leak out so I could really fix it.
A couple of hours later I covered the area with some loctite epoxy. Hopefully it holds, it says it has a holding strength of 2500 psi, so I think I'll be good.
Pic of the heat exchanger, just about where it's going to be sitting, just an inch higher and actually mounted.
Sorry guys, made me pretty angry that I have get my AC charged again sometime after I get the car running. Lets hope for a better tomorrow.

keep the AC!
everyone who throws together an ABA-T seems to want to delete the AC to get everything fit. i got my FMIC to fit with the condensor and oem radiator with minimal mods to the bumper (just removed the fins... looks more bad ass this way anyway)
2.0T... it's back!

Hopefully you have no issues with the TB being polished like that. Pretty sure its rough for a reason. Also hope you did not take that edge down where the flap seats as this will cause idle issues. Good work so far. Let me know if you ever have any questions.
I detail and do paint correction. Check it out!

I like this thread. Did a similar thing back in 2005
http://www.tampaeuro.com/forums/inde...howtopic=38581
Will do something similar soon, but im currently on the NA kick.
As for that AC repair, I really doubt that will hold, considering the thermal changes a condenser coil goes through. I work on AC units for a living, and we braise our leaks. I would try something like that if (when) the jbweld fails

I had my doubts as well, but then I came back to the car today and went to scoot this piece of wood I was using for various things, and it wouldn't budge, lol. Then I kicked the hell out of it one good time and it turns out the wood was sitting on some drips of epoxy the fell on the ground.
And it wasn't giving up what it had a hold of! lol.
So only time will tell if this will do or not.
Anywho, I got the heat exchanger mounted. Pics of the fittings.
Only ziptie on there I promise, I only used it to hold it in place while I was making mounting tabs.
Got ready to put the bumper back on, thank god.
Snapped in and bolting down.
Everything's not not aligned properly yet, but I was happy to get her face back on.
Within' the next couple of days I'm gonna be getting the oil and water cooling lines plumbed and what not, my silicone couples are on the way so I'm trying to be patient. That's all for tonight.![]()

Good news: I got all of my silicone couplers in today, as well as my slim fans for the radiator.
Bad news: I'm sending the turbo back because the manifold is just poorly made IMO and I just don't want this turbo, I'm sending it back to the vendor I purchased it from.
I'm probably getting a gt30 (way bigger, I know.) from here.
http://www.fmpracing.com/Forced-Indu...duct_info.html
And getting my buddy to rebuild it with garrett internals.
That along with a kinetic manifold and the standard Tial 38mm wastegate.
Comments/opinions anybody?
