I think it is going to come out that she was meeting up with the aunt.

agreed, there is definitely something going on with the aunt. I think that the mayor candidate (forget his name) has a skeleton that is yet to fall out of his closet as well.

Honestly, right now I am thinking that maybe the campaign guy killed her.

i think he's just a distraction, and has nothing to do with it.

I don't know. They spent time making him come across as wrapped too tight guy that would do anything to get the candidate elected.

They can just add a little more detail and BAM! you got a crazy murderer.

i think it's still a really close toss-up between the campaign and stan/mitch (his past) somehow. tonight, thought it was slow and not much to do with the case itself, the ending really kind of had me thinking more towards stan and his past. tonight definitely did bring out some interesting facts about both detectives.

rosie's aunt still has me wondering though, too. ah man, i even catch myself watching the rerun during the week and rethinking theories.

only two episodes left to tie it up. any idea if the finale will be more than an hour?

from some chatter i've seen on twitter and whatnot, people are saying it was a great episode.

i must have missed something during the search for jack, but i might do some reading and re-watch it, to see if that's the case.

definitely a filler episode.. barely any connection to the whole story.

Unless they plan on expanding this past a single season, the last episode was unnecessary character development.

Hope Sunday night is exponentially better.

    100% disagree.

the show is about the effect the killing has on the people who's life it's touched. This episode showed that perfectly. I thought it was a great episode, and allowed the two main characters to show more of who they are.

Because the slower it moves the more brilliant it must be, right?

not at all. but if the show was just about 'the killing' then why has there been so much time spent with the mayoral candidate, the cop, etc, etc.

reality- every show is just filler and bait & switch until the finale reveal.

remember how LOST was virtually six seasons of filler? yeah, one episode of a 13-part series won't ruin the series.

i enjoyed it. holder cracks me up and it was interesting to hear more about his and linden's background.

I don't really care about their douche bag lives.

Usually I like the back story on the characters, but not when it comes to these two and not at the expense of an episode on show that has a short season.

I don't know what it is with this show. I like the show and can go with the story line, but most of the characters annoy me.

whoa, **** man, sorry to hear about your house.

two episodes left. if you can get good constant access to the internet, there are plenty of torrents of the past episodes available.

    seriously on both accounts.

i still think they are playing us. the preview mentioning "the last five minutes will be talked about all summer!" has me thinking it won't be what we think, but who knows. editing and commercials can do wonders sometimes.

Yeah, the show is definitely playing us. From the beginning, I instantly ruled him out b/c it was too obvious. But the penultimate episode leads you to think it was him who killed Rosie. The emails, the pictures and the girl.

But if you think about it, again, it's too obvious. The season supposed to end in a shocker and he doesn't fit the bill.

Maybe it's aunt Terry. But she has no connection (that I know of) with the Richmond campaign so she couldn't get her hands on the campaign car.

    Hmmm....I'm still sticking with Gwen.

Damn, they started to make everyone look like a suspect in this episode. I don't mind a filler episode or two, if they are going to follow up with episodes like this.

Started watching 2 days ago, I'm all caught up. Can't remember a show that made me think. Great show. Richmond would just be too obvious to be the killer......I'm swaying towards Tom the Billionaire.

And Tom the Billionaire isn't too obvious a choice also?

I re-watched the last episode and something has me wondering about Gwen now.

That is what I like about this, you really have no idea who it is going to be.

Argh, can't believe what happened I guess the murder per season was a myth. It's going to be interesting how Holder plays into all this.

I jumped off the couch when I saw Gwen hiding while Sarah was telling off Richmond. Yes!, it's Gwen!!! But apparently not.
