When paired with a good shock, H&R sport springs certainly are not un-liveable on the street
Btw, judging by you screen name I talked to you on the phone last week, we talked about everything including your 84gti and my old scirocco comparing spring rates. You pretty much pushed me over the edge as far as purchasing, thanks for all the great info, and great conversation.

For your friends car, I'm not as familiar with the various Audi Chassis as I am with VW's, however I am not turning up anything for that year range for either the S5 or S6. Even seems that H&R doesn't offer coils for that car, just springs. Checked Koni Worldwide's fitment guide as well and no luck. All I can see available are the Koni Sport Shocks, which does not fit cars with the self leveling system
Front can go lower but I'm actually going to be raising it a bit due to my super steep driveway.
The rear is all the way down with perches removed. I'm gonna put them back in. Ride quality and handling are outstanding with the dampness set about midway.
