I've had it up to here so I'm making this thread.

    1. April Fools is stupid. It's as if someone telling you a joke, says "Stop me if you've heard this" and you stop them. And they continue telling you the joke as if you didn't just say you've heard it. YEAR AFTER F**KING YEAR. Enough already. We get it. April 1st = haha JK OMG LOLZ. Enough.

    2.
    Stop doing this:

"All of the sudden" NO....It's "All of a sudden"

"Would of" NO... It's "Would have"
(Its contraction is would've....how the f**k do you get the letters VE from the word OF?? Huh?)

    "Should of" NO...It's "Should have"
Same god damned thing as above. If you haven't learned by now, I will never take anything you say seriously. EVER.

    3. If you've never had a car payment, never had to pay for insurance, cell phone, your own gas, food, clothing, entertainment, etc...DON'T TELL ME HOW EXPENSIVE EVERYTHING IS. I already know. Would you like to know how I know?

My parents were broke and angry by the time they had me. The only gift I've been given was a roof over my head.

Some of us have had to work hard for the things we have and those people also know the value of a dollar better than someone who just got off the Parents-Pay-For-Everything Express.

    4. F**k you. No seriously. YOU.

If I might add a rant.

Can we stop with the "that said" statements? It's annoying as hell when people think they're an intellectual and use that to somehow make themselves sound smarter than they are. You're fooling nobody but yourself and if you're going to make a contradicting statement, what's wrong with, "however?"

I work with people who act like petulant children. It makes me act like a drunk daddy. It's surprisingly fun.

    I am Zuk's incandescent rage.

I begin to glow in January after Zuk sees how much he just paid in real estate taxes. I grow brighter as he prepares his FIT return. I reach blinding intensity when the new girl erases a letter a spent a half hour dictating.

    I serve no purpose.

Funny guy, but you've also illustrated another point about that particular phrase that I can't stand. People will say "that said" after having not said anything sometimes. Seems unnecessary to try to strengthen a point someone else stated using "that said."

    Good call OP.

    I have one to add;

It's "I couldn't care less." not "I could care less." If you could care less then you care some and your point is invalid.

that are common in the UK but their only connection is Top Gear and the BBC.

I can almost understand that since cultures are going to blend what with the information age being what it is. My issue is I don't think people use the phrase "that said" correctly, and they sound like buffoons because of it (to me).

Ah this brings up another one.

Do you people really think I get bothered by what you say on this forum? Like you think you've stuck it to me by pointing out a mistake I've made? Or do you think by coming into a thread and making a quip that you've somehow 'dismantled the establishment?' And created some hilarious new fad of "the drop-in a**hole?"

You know what would really shock me? Like what would actually affect me once I closed my computer?

Proper spelling, grammar, and maybe punctuation. Throw in a useful metaphor or friendly piece of advice and I'll video tape the mother f**king heart attack I have from seeing someone convey some actual intelligence over the internet.

Yet, there are even more succinct alternatives. Notwithstanding those and insomuch as people will use turns of phrase without relfection, none are as terrible as the dreaded three; pro-active, paradigm and "going forward".

BTW, that one bothers me to no end.

Exactly, if I say "that said" it's 1 less syllable, hence the reason to not say "how-ev-er."
