way2, I want to better understand what you mean relative to the alignment tool. Do you have picstures of this?

jag, If you want to send them back I will check them out again. As memory serves you didn't buy this kit from us directly...so my ability to help you would be relative to parts, if there is an issue found. The choice is yours...but I will continue to do what I can to help.

Way, when and where were the parts bought? Also, what is the part number of the kit you have.

I personally installed one of Specs clutches in a customers MKIII and it failed to release properly too. IMO, they make and sell junk that doesn't work. When pressed about why you get the same answer everytime, send it in to be checked. Well who has time to have their car down and what customer is going to pay for their clutch and trans to be pulled over and over until Spec gets it right? One would think that with all of the complaints they get about vw clutches they would stop marketing and selling this crap until they get it right, but no they just keep selling them and insisting they work. I tell everyone ever contemplating a Spec clutch to stay away from them because they don't work.

you hit the nail on the head my friend, I even did send the POS clutch out and my car sat for 6 weeks only for them to tell me it worked fine still when it most certainly still did not...scammers
