Click the search button and enter the terms I put in quotations

Choose to search this forum and not any others

Press the "search now" button. Your results will be a list of posts. Lots of them.

As I mentioned choose the third post. Since you'll probably blow over it, there's a link inside the post that will launch another post and you will see a pictorial DIY that other than turning the wrenches for you, explains the entire process.

You might as well get used to the "teach to fish" mentality here. Little info is just handed up. Legwork and learning as you go will get you a lot more help.

-You may need to replace the actual radiator supports. To get specific, what's been discussed so far is actually a core support.

-The hood latch on the core support will need to be moved to the new core support.

-Learn how to unhook the hood release

-There's a fibrous material above the radiator that is usually trashed. Replace it w/something.

-Since you're in there, what's the status of the fan switch coming off the radiator?

      -How about a fluid flush/fill?

-This may be a good time to pull the fan shroud and clean/paint it.

-If you've come this far you may want to replace the oil cooler seal. You have every thing out of the way and it will fail/leak one day.

-Consider relaying your newly upgraded lamps.

-Do the new lamps have city bulbs? You'll have to wire those. Or at a minimum cap the city light provision.

-Learn how to aim the new lamps

-The front motor mount is nearby. It wears out and you should replace that too.

Almost everything above is in the forum FAQ. Give that a try.

i thought the radiator supports were the same thing as a core support ?, also i will move the latch to its new position of course, the fibrous material is not trashed, with everything else i am going to tune up and get new parts for like u said the fan switch nicely cleaned fan shroud did not paint though, the oil cooler seal will deff be replaced btu i havent gotten bulbbs yet for the heads i am still waiting to figure wat i should do for that other than that i have added new radiator pumps also will be replacing and getting a new Engine mount, front, vertical stud type, heavy-duty hydraulic.
