The wiring harness or the extra wires that needs to be attached with the park assist unit.

one more question is that do I need to replace Parking sensor controller to install this? And also do provide me with a step by step guide to install it. please..

      thanks

Northernsky posted the wiring diagram a few posts above. If you already have OPS, you'll need to add the two side sensors, extra console switch, and yes, change the control module.

Trying to find some reference to my ABS module in ETKA, but so far not found anything with the same part number - looking at illustration 614-10. It shows the part number as 1K0 907 375 maybe it's somewhere else in ETKA??

For my MK6, my ABS module is 1K0 907 379 AJ. I scanned another GTi with park assist and his ABS module part number is 1K0 907 379 BE, but his car was a later model, so not sure if this is just a running change, or specifcially needed for park assist.

I just got the remainig parts and updated the part list since the Sensor Plugs were wrong.

Here is another Park Assist thread from a German forum for a Passat retrofit.

I will try to install soon, but time is not enough these days.

Just only to be prepared if my ABS Control Module does not work MK60 (1K0 907 379 AC) I bought this used Control Module which is MK60EC1 (1K0 907 379 AJ). I hope there are no compatibility issues.

Waiting the part from German eBay:

      http://www.ebay.de/itm/ATE-VW-ESP-St...-/120673873117

I will install the Park Assist with the current ABS Module and report back, if it fails, I will install the MK60EC1 version and expect results.

Not yet since I got troubles sourcing the ABS Module, good news is that I will get it next Monday.

It will take me some time to install since I recently got married, so I need to put my head back on the track

      @Beloux

I have connected the Park Assist Button, BUT it seems the pins for the button on the diagram are incorrect or need the hole stuff connected (module, sensors etc) to be iluminated.

I have to connect Pin 3 for Ilumination and Pin 6 to Ground (as the other buttons) which in the diagram indicates is Pin 4 and 2 for Ground.

MAYBE it needs to be connected all together to be iluminated the way is intended.

      Can you confirm?

I had a little time and just connected the button for the looks at the moment.

Looking very nice. Sub'd for updates. I'm seriously considering adding at least the OPS part to my car (not sure about the auto parallel parking since US spec cars might not have the right modules for it though.)

I think you can use pin 3 from any of the other buttons to get power for the button light.

Does anyone know the pinout on the CECM for the button power? I have found pin 51 on connector B, but I am unsure if this is correct and would like someone with some inside info to confirm.

I see Kufatec now offeres the retrofit for park assist, but only as if installed by them...

Wonder what the big issue is?

There's also http://www.carsystems.pl/vw-golf-mk6...ade,id375.html, but that assumes you already have OPS.

I think so. The Premium in the description is the color one, while MFA+ is the B&W one.

I think you're right. I may order this just for ****s and giggles, although I'm confused on how this would wire in. I already have the 3 slots of the control module used with the current wires (one for the front sensors, one for the back, one for the park assist button) so I wonder if the cable they supply replaces one of them (from the picture, it doesn't look likely).

Did you ever get your ABS Module retrofitted? I'm seriously considering doing this, but I'd like to know for sure it can be done. I already have the 8 sensor OPS. I have a 2007 GLI as well.

Yea, the new wires fit into the original cable.

I did get the kit, but I am not sure I trust the seller. The seller sent the same PDC sensors to use for PLA and claims it works the same way. I haven't had a chance to try it out.

The seller even sells PDC and PLA sensors for two different price points on their own site, yet got very defensive when I asked how come. I guess I'll have to try it out.

i bought the kitt...same PDC sensors 4H0 919 275 instead of PLA sensors 1T0 919 297 A...the same asnwer from the seller: the PDC sensors works the same way like PLA sensors. I have not tried to see if it works. Please keep us informed if PDC sensors works like PLA sensors for PLA upgrade.
