Is it sad that I initally wanted a certain set of wheels, but after I saw that they weighed more than the stock steelies, I decided I no longer liked them? And even sadder that I thought about looking for jetta steelies (16 inches vs stock rabbit @ 15 inches) since I'm too broke to spend $$$ on decent lightwight wheels that will handle daily driving duty?

ouch, that happened to me before on my 66 Ghia, the tire shop overtorqued the bolts and stripped the drums

could you not just take a lug bolt from each wheel to get it off the road? AAA? IIRC, I have some extra lug bolts, but I think they are cone seat, but they'd do in a pinch...

i got lug bolts at the house, the oem ones. But were going to go back and put my spare tire on and loctite the bolts on and plug the brake line and try to drive it atleast to my house which isnt far. But yeah it is off the road, right when it happend i turned off in that split second and yanked on the e brake(smart quick thinking).

    Think im low enough now?

Good thing the fender isnt ****ed up and lemme show you why!

And this is why you dont bolt down your front fender at the bottom
