Your welding on zinc primer? We had a job come in where every freking piece had that crap on it and they ended up having us grind it all out of the weld area because it kept giving porosity and not to mention the hanous fumes that it produces can f you up and cause tooth decay, hope your drinking lots of milk if your welding on galvanized (any metal coated in zinc). What wire are you running?

why are they scary? i used loctite, went for a spirited drive, came back, and all was tight still. yes, i pulled the rims off again to make sure the studs were tight...

Well welding on sheet with light application it probably does weld fine we had 7,000 pound I beams coated in the stuff (not sure exactly what kind but it was a zinc primer) and it was quite thick so welding on it was just crap, it poped and blew junk everywhere, after one pass the cup would be full of spatter, hate that stuff...
And I ment what kind of wire, I assume er70s-6?

used them to bolt my adapter to a while back. after about a week or so i felt a wobble in the wheel. 3 were loose. checked all 4 corners and atleast 1 or more was loose. i ended up just using the stock wheel bolts to bolt the adapters on. a friend of mine used them on his e30 and he had the same issue. its more prone with aluminium wheels.

why would it be more prone with aluminum wheels? did you clean out the old threads real good with brake cleaner before install or use loctite? i guess i will see if i have the same fate. i hope not, it's much easier to swap wheels this way and i like these studs so far...

Yeah, I like the A3 too. It wasn't an easy decision. I had planned on keeping the A3 a long time. But since the Countryman came out, I couldn't stop thinking about it. IMO, it's the perfect solution to the fact that you can't get an A3 with quatro and a manual.

I would be pretty embarrassed if i were you, you may just want to get some racelands and redeem some scene cred before you are driven out by the mk4 forum.

absolutely LOVE the vokoun signing. he was beast with FL, with no support...didn't thrive with the caps, but still shut us out. awesome 1b netminder that can easily handle 30+ games so flower isn't overworked. love ya bj, but it's time to go.

yea man he always tore us up, I agree he will def be better then johnny was this year, however he must not of been palying well to be behind neuvirth and holtby, time will tell, if he has a good offseason it could prove to be huge, the way I see it is they did this not because had they had a better back up they wouldve started him over fleury in the playoffs, but more so that throughout the season wed have more confidence in our backup, play him more, and fleury would get more rest throughout the year...
