anyone here by chance do audio installs? i have a pioneer avic-z1 sitting around that i'd like to have in by h20. i have all of the adapters and dash kit. 04 passat non-monsoon. have the bluetooth and xm units too.

while it's just sitting there, go ahead and pull the HDD and grab the files from avic411 to update it to a Z3 with 2011 maps/cddb database, etc...

or buy mine

started doing the new baseboards and trim in my dining roof after i put the floors in. trying to figure out the correct angles and cutting them right sucks balls!

depends on how old your house is and what the walls are made of. 1940's build with plaster walls, the walls and ceiling arent square. when i did my crown it was a mess. angles varied from 42-48 degrees

my walls are plaster. the house was built in 1964 and they are so far from square it is nuts.

My house is like 5 or 6 years old and my ceilings/walls aren't square.

Gotta work with what you have. I was just talkin to my wife about the number of cars that I've done here. It's usually a spring to late fall thing, and Work in driveway with a popup tent. Winter is something I plan for so I can fit a car inside and still be able to work on it, repositioning when the weather is decent.

I can't wait to go pick up my new bus tomorrow. I probably could've driven it home, but would feel safer going over everything before I make a maiden voyage with it.

my next house will def have a 2 if not three car garage for sure tho.

**** i havent had a car in my single slot garage in 5 years.

agreed that the next house will have at least a 2 car garage, if the price is right i have a quote from a contractor buddy for $22-25k for a 20x40 garage with a 20x20 loft.

I am slowly learning to work smarter with what I have, too ; getting organized, added shelving, and selling off parts/stuff I realize I don't need.

I will get there, and next will be the welder either this week or next.
It will take some practice first tho. my experience is small and from a few years back!
