ok I'll play..my name is Matt and I've been on the vortex since 06. Initally signed up when I purchased my GTI, but then realized that most people on that forum were a bunch of jerks for lack of a better word.So I pretty much stopped visiting the vortex. So when I got the R in 08 I've been "lurking" since and post here and there. Overall this forum is a great group of people and not to mention very knowlegable. Have to admit that most of what I know about my R is from here. And yes PSU your "few" threads on here have been most definetly entertaining and educating at the same time. Look forward to many more threads on here and eventually getting to some local car shows with the R. And if I can ever figure out how to post pics on here I'll post some up for you guys

Started with a 99 mk3 GTI VR6 (thus the SN). Then had a mk4 Jetta 2.0. Now I have an R. I also have a 99 Miata that I play with when the sun is shining or if I want to drive around some cones.

Also, fresh bodies goes a long way to keep the genetic pool from getting to stagnant. That's when you start seeing 30 threads being updated every 15 minutes or less and there are only 5-6 different people posting in all of them.
