The Corrado Salvage Yard thread

Thought it was about time we had a thread where we could help each other out by posting up when we find a wrecked Corrado in a salvage yard so others can find parts they're looking for.

Thread post details to include:

-name & location of salvage yard, entrance fee if applicable
-date you visited yard
-Corrado specs/details, & general location of Corrado in yard. What's damaged.
-what was left on Corrado when you left
-what was confirmed already taken
-pix if you think of it.



I'll start:

-Pick Your Part yard on Energy Way in Otay Mesa (San Diego area) CA. $2- entrance fee.
-Visited on 4/15/11
-93 Corrado VR6, black with tan leather interior. Located along inner corridor, last row in the middle.
Rear end collision - rear bumper & some tail lights smashed, rear quarter panel damage.
-Tan Leather interior complete & decent shape. VR6 motor complete. HVAC controls still there. Sunroof appears intact. One headlight good.
-ECU gone, dash stripped: cluster, switches, trim gone. Front bumper gone. Radiator & core support gone. MAF & airbox gone.
-didn't take pix.

Might be a good deal for someone that's looking swap from a G60 to VR!

2 Corrado G60s in the lot
Both still had GLaders and are 90% complete
Both had front end damage

1 Corrado SLC
Front end damage, engine and interior was still in the car. Dashboard had been extracted.
