I haven't been in this forum in a while since I sold my mkV about a year ago but just wanted to share a shoot I did recently. I had the pleasure of shooting Rich's (07silverbullet) GTI for a feature on Air Society http://www.airsociety.net/2011/04/attention-to-detail/ here's the shoot, hope you guys enjoy it

for all of the technical details about the car go check out the feature I love shooting his car b/c of all the little things and just how clean and classy it is

amazing car!! Only thing I would have to say I dislike is the wheels! Why does everyone have these wheels? I'm truly sorry this car is really fresh but it's like if you have a MKV on air ride you have these wheels! I'd love to see something a little more original on it. the car its self gets but the wheels I give

    Thanks everyone

About his wheels... I agree that Alphard's are one of the most played out wheels, and honestly hate them on most cars, but at the same time I haven't seen many people pull them off as well as Rich he essentially had the fenders made to fit the wheels. Also, he's been rocking them since well before most people; when everyone was obsessed with funky colored wheels (is that still popular?) he was rocking these, so I give him credit for that

About his interior... definitely one of my favorite additions he has made to the car. The color is so nice in person and works so well with the silver of the car; it really does look even better in person, it's a tough color to photograph b/c getting the light just right is challenging but I was able to capture it pretty accurately for the most part. If anyone has the chance to see it in person definitely take the time to take a look for yourself

I'd like to add, one of the other great things about this car is the fact that Rich actually drives it all the time, even through the winter, this ain't no trailer queen it's a daily driver

what's that rear wheel slant called? and did he do that or is it just the way the wheel sits? I saw someone's quote as "to get a rear wheel slant take a towel and hit the towel over the rim while its jacked w a rubber mallet like 25 times to get slant" I don't think he was serious, but I think its the same thing

I'm gonna act like I did not just read the whole last part of your post... The wheels are cambered in the rear enabling me to tuck the wheels...
