I sold this car to a friend of mine, part of the deal was I would help him get it certified (don't ever do this by the way....what a headache! ) Anyways he has now impregnated his wife and with a child on the way he is thinking he needs a car a little more kid friendly.
We did a mountain of work to this car...

-New Windshield
-New Gas Tank
-New brake lines
-New Master Cylinder
-New Ball Joints
-New Strut mounts
-Replaced axles
-Replaced calipers
-Replaced Exhaust manifold, we had to take the head off to do this so....
-All new gaskets on head
-New tires
-Treat under-body, rear apron, and fender lips with chassis saver
-Replaced shocks and springs
-Replaced wiper motor and linkage

We fiber glass the rear passenger wheel arch as it had cancer, has wheel arches so that is covered, Needs a windsheild replaced which is included and the head liner is sagging.

Other then that it is a pretty good runner.

This is a 1982 "Black Tie Edition" Rabbit. This was only produced for the one year and there aren't to many left out there.

if i did not have a mayor conviction in my driving record i would be all over this thing. just to be the one that drives around town with a 30 year old car...

great deal here. even if you are under age. buy it now as an investment and drive it or sale it in a few years once it turns 40 ...

Yeah I did! Will be going to a junkyard soon to hopefully snag me a new hood latch and some other goodies before I start buying parts for it.
