what baffles me is people in illinois, ohio, and michigan felt it, where as in indiana, i was eating a sandwich when i saw a breaking news report of the quake on MSNBC, and i didn't feel anything. only thing i noticed was my cat rubbing on my leg because she was hungry, and hate the way that feels.

But after we finish up slaying zombies silently, we could make it just in time to save you!

No joke, I got on a kick once where I wanted to have my emergency kit ready and all sorted in case a natural disaster hit. I've got my regular camping gear, about 100 bottles of water in the basement, dry goods, tools, emergency crank radios, etc.

I told my wife it was in case of a zombie apocalypse. She just rolled her eyes.

In case you're wondering...I've got my machete and 9mm as part of this 'disaster' kit as well.

I can't wait until we move. My wife was checking out realtor.com and found a place with like 17 acres in Colchester...or maybe Coventry. I can't remember. Either way, I want it so I can have a big garden, justify buying a $2-$3K generator, and have my own little compound. It'll be like Blood Harvest in L4D.

Unfortunately, we're realistically a few years away from moving.

my mom is kind of getting worried since they will be in a kayak race on saturday in jamestown rhode island. won't have as much ocean kayaking compared to the race they did last year, but should be interesting to see the pictures they take.

With my disk drive taking a dump last night, I'm debating if I should get a new 360, or a PS3. I've been wanting a PS3 for some time now. I may be able to work out some sort of deal with my brother thats now in college to fork over his 360 since his gold membership has expired. I don't know, we'll see...

When my last 360 crapped out (I'm actually only on my 2nd believe it or not) I debated going PS3 as a bunch of friends have it. I stuck with 360 for a couple reasons.

- I hate hate HATE Sony controllers. They feel like garbage in my hand and are tiny. If I had T-rex arms/hands I'd probably love them...but I don't, so I don't.

- I don't watch many DVDs. I can't remember the last time I actually used my DVD player...so blu ray wasn't enough to sway me.

- I was always tempted by the Sony exclusive titles. I never thought COD were all that great graphics wise...but man they are clearly more polished games. I played Resistance 3 (both campaign and MP) at my brother in laws last week. I was really let down. Laggy/Jerky, and the graphics/smoothness of movements just weren't there. I wasn't impressed with God of War either. Yeah, it was good...when it was released on PS2 in the early 2000s. I just couldn't get into the latest one when my buddy got it. Felt outdated at the release.

Most people I know that have both consoles use the PS3 for non gaming purposes. Streaming Pandora, Blu-Ray, etc.

Finally...most friends have PS3, but they rarely play MP. I play more with you guys, so I figured I'd stick with 360. Kisses

Well for those who don't have a PS3 it would be weird, but thank you to the Ft Smith ARK finest (theft recovery auction), I was able to snag up a 80g backwards compatible PS3 with 3 controllers for only $200 about a year ago.

It collects dust Vince. Stay with the 360.

If you do get a PS3, my g/t over there is BigJayRitch.

Won some money yesterday in a Mini Golf tournament my company had. I think I'll put that money towards a new 360. I'd love to play those exclusives on the PS3. But when March comes around, I NEED the 360 for my ME3 and NG3. Love those games too much. Got too many friends on LIVE to just up and walk away from. What kind of human being does that?

Cool. And like I said, a lot of the PS3 exclusives that I've drooled over in past years have left me underwhelmed when I finally got to play them. Demon Souls looked cool, and my buddy with both systems said that is the one game he played on PS3 over the past year, but the sequel is coming out for both systems. It looks awesome.

I messed up in my first play through and F**KED up by choosing the wrong thing to say in the whole fight with her and Jack.

When I continue with my second play through after new years, I wont make the same mistake twice.

anyone else as stoked about Skyrim and/or Assassins Creed Revelations as i am?

skyrim has an all new graphics engine and dynamic environments, meaning the game determines where and how the environment looks. rocks arent textured to look like they are covered in snow, the game does it.

as for ACR, i just want to see where thy take the story both in and out of the animus. the previous 3 were all cliffhanger "you have to get the next one" endings.
