Good luck in the upcoming race. Laser happens to know a few a things, and one of the things Laser knows is, its not how you stand by your car, its how how you race your car.

And thanks. Can't wait for my exhaust.

ahaha thanks, just kind of thought of that out of no where....

I was juggling the idea of 3 or 4 bar... but to go more in sync with Fast and furious 1/4 mile I went with 4.

Traded Gears in for a game that requires a lot of time to play... and recently all of my time has been spent working 10+ hours/day and driving to and from work (about 2.5 hours/day).

Debadged the trunk...Real happy on how it came out. For those looking to do it.

1)Clean the area with hot soap and water
2)Use your moms blow dryer to heat up the emblems
3)Use 20lbs fishing line to sneak it behind the emblem and glue backing
4)Works best with two ppl, so as one person is hitting it with the heat the other can slide the line behind the emblem and glue
5)Once the emblems are off use Goo Gone Automotive/Meguiars tar and bug remover to help get rid of the left over adhesive. Meguiars worked better.
6)Keep hitting it with the heat as your scrubbing off the glue backing with a micro fiber towel
7)DO NOT USE your fingers nails to scrap off the glue... as I did, this did leave scratches. Someone recommended doing this
8)Make sure to have a bucket of hot water and soap on stand by to keep washing the area.
9)Use Carnauba wax on the area after your done soaping and watering down the removed glue.

I have an 08 model with paint in great condition and it left an ever so slightly shadow effect of where the emblems use to be. The waxing really helped tone it down. It can only be seen at certain angles when the sun hits it.

**** The biggest thing in removing the glue is to keep heat on it.

Anyone dressing up for Halloween? My wife and I are going as David Bowie and Jennifer Connolly from Labyrinth. I've got the wig, a vest, puffy shirt, and white tights. I have to pick up the makeup and let my wife go to town on the eye makeup.

I am starting to worry that these pictures will haunt me for years to come.

Im sry guys... Ik I'm slacking.

But work and this eat up all my time. Once winter hits and I can't work on the car I'll be more prone to playing video games.

Didn't get very far... do to rain and snow but at least its a start.

I put together the Borla exhaust and made sure everything fit correctly...which it didn't. The front pipe that connects to the OE pipe didn't want to insert into the pipe with the resonator. Had to bend it a little to allow it to go in. I also put my car up on jack stands for the first time ever and removed the stock hangers from the rubber isolators. Wow what a b!tch that was. Tip 101- use a flat head screwdriver, spray some lube on that bad boy, and attack those rubber isolators from the bottom. Use tons of strength.

    Should I get coilovers?!?

Getting the hangers out was where I almost said fuk it and took my car to a shop... but I persevered.

You need to go find a limited edition before they sell them out though, as those include the back to karkland pack. Otherwise you will have to pay for it when it comes out in dec.

Useless without vids... they are coming.

So installation was a breeze. Minus having to do it in snow/water. Froze my a$$ this morning. I am extremely happy with this product. Looks and sounds amazing from outside of the car. There is a bit of a cabin drone at 3,000 rpm's other than that its dead silent. I am kind of frustrated because the exhaust is making something rattle either in the passenger side door or center console. Anyone experience this before? Looks like I am going to have to sound dampen somethings.

i bet it sounds great. i actually really like the unique sound of that five-pot motor.

and those wheels, while insanely bright, are a great design. definitely will look sick man.

    question for you folks:

moved to a new apartment over a week ago. first few days xbox and wireless controller worked normal. this past saturday i played some solo mw3, then shut it off to go pick up dinner. upon return, i pressed the xbox button on the controller, and nothing happened. the lights on the controller all flashed, but the xbox itself never turned on. tried pressing the connect buttons on both the console and controller, which resulted in nothing. even tried connecting the play-n-charge adaptor to the controller, and the xbox still wouldn't turn on or connect to the controller.

then, randomly, the xbox turned on and acted normal. this continued on sunday as well. i would turn the controller on, then about 2-3 minutes later, the xbox would finally turn on - with or without the play-n-charge adaptor.

    any ideas?
    welcome to the layer cake
