4.2L V6 97,xxx miles
5 spd manual trans
Standard Cab, Short Bed
PA inspection good until 6/12
Red, aftermarket taillights
replaced rear solid glass with a slider
Lowered 3" front, 4" rear
Side exit exhaust
2 small rust spots on lower bed sides
front bumper needs some work
ABS light is on, system has been checked, no reason for it to be on.
Headunit will be coming out of the truck.
Headlight switch needs to be replaced, works, but it's broken. Going to the junkyard tomorrow to pick one up, will also try to find a front bumper.


Looking to get $5500 but willing to negotiate.
If I fix everything, will be trying to get $7500 for it. I've seen them go for more, with higher mileage.
Also looking for a decent Corrado for the girlfriend

Interested in the G60, why does it need the standalone? do you still have the wheels and grill that came off of the car? How many miles are on it? Really, any additional info that wasn't in your ad.

It needs standalone for 2 reasons: 1 the engine has been too highly modified for the ECU to control, (it has a stage 5 chip in it already). It runs, and you can drive it when its warmed up, but I wouldn't advise it for a long period of time. 2nd the 6 speed transmission uses an electrical speed sending unit versus the stock transmission which used a cable. A cluster from a 91 which uses an electrical signal was swapped in, but to get it all working correctly, the speed sensor needs to be wired into the standalone, and then the standalone gets wired the the cluster. I got the tachometer working sorta, but I was just playing around with it until I got mega squirt for the car. (Wife hates the car, that's why it must go).

oh the old wheels are 4 lug, and the car is now 5 lug, so they are a no go, as for the grill, somebody didn't place it on the passenger seat nicely, and closed the door on it, but they can be picked up for pretty cheap

I'm still interested, I would like to get together at some point to take a look at it with the g/f. I'm going to be gone this weekend, but next weekend me and her could make the trip up to you that way you could see the truck and I could see the car. all it would basically need is a standalone setup, megasquirt, and all the wiring that is associated with it.

I guess my major concern is the fact that I only have one vehicle, and I need to drive about 5 miles a day, so as long as the corrado can do that for the next couple weeks until I can get a standalone, consider it a trade.

I dunno. I havn't touched it in over 2 years with being deployed. I don't think I would trust it as a daily, right away.

sorry about the late reply, ****'s been crazy around here. There's only a couple things I need to know before I fully agree to do the trade. Does the car run at all? have you tried starting it recently? I know it will need to be trailered to get it home. I know it's gonna need a little work to make it a daily, but I'm not interested in a car that I have to diagnose to figure out what's wrong with it. If I'm gonna invest in a stand-alone, I need to know that everything on the car is ok first. I don't want to get the car, spend a bunch of money just to find out that I need to spend even more money on sensors and basic upkeep items just to get the car running in order to tune it. If you tell me that everything that's on the car is ok and it fires up and is semi-driveable (enough to get it on a trailer and move it around my parking lot) I'm down to do the trade. I can come down to you on any Sunday for you to see the truck and that way I can see the car. My cell-phone is off right now, but I check this just about every day.

Everything worked the last time I messed with it, sunroof, lights etc. There were no sensor problems or anything. I think that there might be a short in the horn. Now of course because I installed the 6speed manual transmission, the odometer, and tachometer do not work, but that will get wired into the standalone, which will then be wired to the cluster anyways. I have not started it up at all, I live in Philly now, and the car is in Reading, and I don't get up there all that much.

I might get up there this coming weekend, I will have my dad charge the battery and see if it starts.

Is there anything special about the truck, I looked it up on Kelly Blue Book, and it says that the value is only around $3,500 +/-

Nothing spectacular about the truck, lowered 3" in the front, 4" in the rear, 98,000 miles, straight pipe from cat back (exits in front of passenger rear tire), replaced the solid rear window with a slider, aftermarket taillights, front bumper is a little messed up, needs the plastic air-dam on the bottom and then it needs to be painted, the local paintshop wants $175 to do it, I just don't have the cash laying around. There's a couple minor issues with the truck, driverside seat has a tear in it, there's a couple rust spots on the bedsides, the front bumper, it needs a new headlight knob, the switch works fine, the knob broke. It doesn't really bother me enough to fix it. Like I said, I only drive for a couple miles a day and very rarely at night. A/C works great, Heat is amazing.

I have no issue with putting money into the car, I just wanna make sure it will run before I start investing... as soon as you let me know it will at least start and idle for a little bit, I'll be more than willing to take the trip to Reading to make the trade.
