This has been a wonderful ride that started in 2005 when I purchased a a 1982
rabbit Convertible. Life and times change got married and having a baby. So I
must part with a prize a joy.
1982 gas engine San Diego, California (no rust) VW Rabbit convertible. Clear title, recent transmission overall (automatic), exhaust system, shocks, battery, radiator, belts, muffler & water pump. Car has sat for 2 years & may need a tune-up and filter changes. Nice body with no rust or dents (minor scuffs, scapes and dings to be expected on a 30 year old car) and the top is in great shape. Ricardo style racing seats from a 2007 Tiberon, Alpine radio with a 10” sub and extra engine gauges. Comes with shop manuals and some maintenance records. SOLD AS IS and without any guarantees...........$1750.00

This is a good one, there are differences between the rabbit conv. and a cabby.
For one you should have the 4 into 2 exhaust manifold fitted with a 02 sensor.
I just picked one up and it makes the glass pack sound different.
I would snag it but no place to put it.

Times are tough for people. It has been hard to sell. However the car is really nice. I gave her alot of TLC. I replaced that manifold. Talk about a hard to find object. The CV joints were also another trick to find as it is an automatic.
