I talked to a few kids from up near Reading, they said they might be coming down next week :p

Also, I'm in the process of getting a EuroFine sticker made, right now I'm waiting on a quote.

    PS.
I kinda want to get a plate that says EuroTrash instead of Eurofine haha

All the parts that are going into my car soon, then a picture of some dubs at Sonic after the Lancaster BBQ last weekend.

Had fun tonight meeting everyone. Nice vehicles all!

See you in a couple of weeks after my trip. I'll try and snap a few pics from the autobahn, plus any nice eurodub cars I happen to see.

I'll try a keep the speed down to a non-silly level. With my luck, I'll probably score a Dacia Sandero at the rental counter this time....

Also, in case anyone is interested, this is the link 24 hour junker car race I mentioned: http://www.24hoursoflemons.com/

Any takers? I'm good to drive on a team, and chip in on prepping a fine $500 vehicle, but am too mechanically challenged to lead getting the ride together.

    Take care.

That 24hoursofLeMons looks awesome! my only concern would be the roll cage. I can imagine that could get a little costly, pair that up with the beater, additional safety equipment and entry fee and it looks like this could quickly add up. But the more I read the more doable it starts to appear.

Turn out was great, always nice to see new faces
Oh and shouts out to our waitress aka miserable, for serving up the fine exotic brews; I felt like **** driving to work today

J & M; congrats on the new crib

You may have a point on the lemons safety cage costs.

However, I may have just located the ultimate VW for lemons; amazing coinicidence or what -- a $500 1984 Rabbit Diesel in CT. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1984-...item2564b62914

    I'm just sayin' :-)

I owned one for a summer in 1989 (which I also bought for $500 and resold at the time - show how great VW's are at holding their value) and fumigated many a motorist behind me. The smoke screen would give us a distinct competitive advantage.

    Later on.

DP finally got here, glad I ordered a new Vband clamp cause the one it came with sucked. Was going to attempt after work today but the rain slapped that idea down real quick. maybe tomorrow after work I'll give it a shot. STGII next friday! hopefully

Why don't you just go to an auto parts store? they will scan and clear your codes for free. Unless you somehow managed to get and OBDI engine in there haha.

Autozone twice now, both times I'm told they can't scan my car I was able to do it once before but now it just comes back not in database or something. I had done something yesterday to cause all sorts of crazy dumb missfires (probably my intake mani messing up) So I know I'll have a missfire for every cylinder, I know I'll have random missfires, I know I'll have a the post cat 02 sensor, and a few other stored codes from when I was trouble shooting my relay issue. I just need to pony up and buy a VCDS

See if there is a way you can have the CEL flash the codes like in an OBDI car?
