im going to try and make this up n running as fast as possible, thats why i wanna have EVERY part before i loosen the first bolt

I am going to be using oem headstuds .. i havent heard any real good reviews about any aftermarket ones for the R yet .. and its going to be 3"dp to 2.5" side exit at first .. just to wake the dead .. then ill make a custom 3" all the way back .. turn downs and a euro R rear bumper with no cutouts

Any special reason for the anti surge housing? Could've gone for an E compressor cover which would make packaging, and installation alot simpler. The C2 ramhorn and turbo inlet/intake combo is designed to use an E cover, which allows the inlet pipe to bolt to a supplied bracket (photo below) allowing it to be secured in the bay and out of the way. I mean there's no real need for that housing on a VR6 anyway, you'll lose a bit of spool with it too.

You can even retain the OEM heat shield, which makes a world of difference in fighting the heat these things put out as well.

I have my pipes wrapped, manifolds covered, and turbo blanketed and it's still crazy!

Awesome build though! I'm in CT as of September to finish my college career, so I'm definitely looking forward to taking the roads by storm with another Turbo VR Where in the 203 are you?

Get the car back. Take it if you have to.

I have been screwed royally twice by body shops. The most recent time I got so pissed I found the guys wife and confronted her at work. I was very pleasant (she was a bank teller) and I explained to her my problem. Next day I get a call to come get my car. I do and as I am leaving (on a flat bed FYI, my motor was out and he refused to allow me to reinstall) when he comes up and just hands me envelope of cash.

Exactly half of what I gave him. I had left him the car and a large sum of cash for him to "Get it done ASAP". He took six months to put a coat of high build over work already completed (pside quarter only) and that's it. He actually had the balls to charge me a storage fee... IE his way of justifying the theft of $2000.

I was so livid, I had to leave for fear of arrest.

This is why if the shop isn't proactively calling you, just leave. They should at least call once a week just to say "Oh sorry man, slammed with walk ins" or at least "Dude I was just lazy and got stoned all week" something. Better off they call to tell you about progress!

This is why I do ALL my own work. Paint, body, electrical, engine, suspension. The only thing I have ever paid to have done was getting my tranny rebuilt after being PC'd.

Buy a nice toolset, get a Bentley and do it. Can't weld? Tape and markers then drop it off at a welder. Never worked on cars? It's really not hard, at all. Or got to a better shop or a private guy who you KNOWS performs. Problem is that this can be very hard to find and is usually an organic deal. If its easy to find its probably $$$$$$.
