      Hey Fellas..

and some might remember my 67 camaro picture that was floating around on here..

Welp.. heres how that car is sitting now.

Its been a LONG 4 years since i got my car where i wanted it, and ive been driving it around finally..

      The LS7 running!

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sd3ggr7xcY8

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZPAJpAk4b8[/QUOTE]

The cars body and modifications by Matt Hellion.. of Hellion Kustoms
and the Forged Vengeance built LS7 engine was swapped in by John at Garage Zero.
      www.garagezero.com
and ALL the carbon fiber was done by my man Le of Fule Carbon Creations.

      Art Morrison corvette frame..

      the grille being fabricated!

and the dirty ass built Moser rear end..

Big 14 inch 6 piston Wilwood brakes.. with hydroboost!

      22 gallon ATL fuel cell..

      Wheel specs are:
3 piece one off wheels made by newgen(american company) for this car.
I had them make the centers to look similar to Minilite wheels.
19x11 in front, 19x14s in the rear.. 275 in front and 345s in the rear.

Heres some pics from today with my other cars..

excuse my motor.. its really dirty.. no really.. i didnt clean it.... ahhaha

      and one of my favorites...

I was looking to pic up a radio flyer for my son so i could pull him around the house and occasional car meets and whatever..

but at a local trash dump near me i saw something i could use..

it started out as one of these exact shopping carts.. bum must have confiscated it..

then i broke out the saws all and my welder and i started to fabricate my own version..

heres the result with my son sitting in the cart..

      i love this shot..

The sides are made of sawzalled up black plastic thats a 1/8th inch thick!.. and its natural black to windex or garden hose and its all clean.
i lowered the front end of the cart by fabbing up a new front axle and lowered it about 3 inches.. the rear tires are from an all terrain lawnmower wheels that they sell at homedepot.
i made a quick release bar in the rear to steer the cart.. it rides like a dream!

That Camaro is so much cooler than the MKIII it is hard to believe that the same person could have owned both. Kudos to you.

Needs some better pictures but it looks great from what I can tell.

PS. I almost didn't click on this thread cause of the title, glad I did.

      Thank you!

yea, it took a lot of growing up to do since the Mk3, but my taste in cars went twords roadracing and autoxing.

      my car clubs website is:

      www.thestreetfighters.com

we organize autox events for oldschool american, japanese, and german cars.

this cars wheels are not its official autox wheels, since i like em a lot.. but they are on the Nitto NTsomethins..

      ahhahaah

sorry about the title.. i named the project Vengeance.

many boring reasons why it was named that to those that dont know me.. but it was therapeutic for me and helped me get through this project.. i dont recommend doing ground up restorations to guys who are not firm in what they want..

and Field journal because now its not in the build phase anymore and its out on the streets driving around.. to get coffee.. hahah

and what would have been a better thread title?

moderator, please change it for me.

      thank you!

I was always a fan of your mk3 and your camaro is definitely my favorite example of that car. Do you have any build threads? Any more shots of that lead sled too?

Thank you for sharing. I'm trying to think of a witty thing to say about your Camaro, but instead I'm just drooling. Gorgeous.

Yes it is already setup for fenderflares..

Here is pics of the car with the fender flares im making for production.
i pshopped the wheels on the car(this was when the boys at DriverzInc were making my set of NewGen Lites) to see what they looked like on..

This is the actual car.. only the wheels, interior, and race tidbits were pshopped.. but the flares are actual.

      down the side..

      heres my 49 chevy fleetline.

power disc brakes, nosed, decked, shaved..

Ignore the backend.. its still a work in progress.. i havent sorted the rear bumper brackets.. probably going with a 56 chevy front bumper made to work back there.

275s in the rear wide upfront also.

built aluminum headed, cammed, 383 stroker V8

Side exhaust is fully functional and has a nice bop out of it.. glad we lowered the body.

nice looking car(s). the quality of your work with the LS7 looks fantastic.

reminds me of the LS9 camaro i saw at autorama a couple years ago. full ZR1 swap, drivetrain, tires, wheels, brakes, etc. Just gorgeous.

sweet baby raptor jesus I love both of your cars (Camaro/lead slead) I remember you from the pro-touring thread a while back and I'm glad you're done with your Camaro, it looks so sinister. I love it.
